Well your half right The Five Deaths do exist, Nublar doesn't though... But you are correct that the reason why we have these islands in the game is because of JP/JW lore
and what are those reasons??
i mean why would they build park on an island which will be facing serious tropcal storms??
unless this was specifically the reason..
Are you questioning the reasoning of the writers of the movie franchise or questioning why the game developers are sticking with the lore the franchise created ?
first one.. i mean i dont know about its lore so i am curious
I cant speak for the writers but as a super fan of the franchise the movies say that John Hammond the original in movie head honcho leased the islands from the government of Costa Rica as a nature reserve. He previously had a park in Kenya but obviously needed more room AND a natural way to contain what he had planned.
Im sure he didnt tell anyone exactly what type of animals he intended to populate the islands with but that doesnt really matter to the government as the islands were isolated and desolate with no human life at all.
EDIT: you mean to tell me you havent seen any/all of the Jurassic Park movies ?
The Costa Rican government sold him the islands for an exorbitant amount of money and he kept as much secret as he could, about the island.
In the finale, when the government learned that the dinosaurs had escaped, that Hammond was dead (oh, yeah, that happened) and that they had been reaching the mainland they used military assets to firebomb Nublar into oblivion.
Sorna escaped notice initially and, through InGen's political and financial connections, remained largely a secret. Its existence was also covered up, by and large, by the Costa Rican government in the aftermath of Jurassic Park.
For what are probably fairly obvious reasons: the other Islands were not purchased/chosen by Hammond for parks. At least it was not mentioned. He was setting up one near China or Japan, though, I believe.
Honestly you should read the books. They're quite good and -very- different from the movies.
offcourse i have seen the movies man.. childhood love..
i was curuios because i was wondering why they took this place. the cost of running, risk and managing all of it in this kind of an enviorment was going to be way to high.
thanks for clearing it..
books are soemthing that are not availalbe here in my country hence i have to either rely on whats availalbe on the net or by askng around
I'd be happy to answer any other questions you've got. The Lost World is my favourite book and Jurassic Park is a close contender as well. Vintage Chrichton is delightful.
Sorry, but you are wrong, the Five Deaths not really exist, they are only part of the movies and games. No really map or atlas shows them. On Google Earth you didn't find the islands. The maps where you can find the Muertes Archipelago are from the official Jurassic Park/Jurassic World sites, movies and games.
i try to get books in hard copy. reading on a computer is difficult. my last purchase of books was about 2 years back, one of the relatives was coming from US so they bought them.
hence i am stuck without knowing much and thats the reason i asked about all this...
