No Sandbox Mode = This Game Will Die

The devs have been very against talking about sandbox and even Planet Coaster alpha had a sandbox mode, if the devs are even remotely smart they will have a sandbox unless they are complete idiots who believe players want a linear story for a tycoon style management game (Spoiler, we don't)

Yes a campaign is cool but it's like Black & White 2, if you don't allow sandbox mode the game will lose all replayability factors and die. This is a serious issue hardly anyone is discussing.

No SITE B & No sandbox mode.

They have already said you don't have to do the missions if you don't want to, so if you really are looking for a sandbox like that then you already have it by being able to jump back and forth between islands. The only reason for a sandbox like in JP:OG is to have everything at your fingertips right from the start.

You also want their to be infinite amounts of cash, no tornadoes/volcanoes or what have you. In JPOG they were a nightmare to deal with (Tornadoes) because you can't stop them and they would cost you a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money. I also want all digsites unlocked for a sandbox if they are smart enough to have one.

Then you havent played JPOG. The sandbox in JPOG still demanded you unlocked everything through research and gathered money. Unless you mean Site B, which isnt what I call a sandbox since it only allowed you to build dinosaurs, which bored me quite quickly because after you had hatched everything there wasnt much to do.

The missions where there mainly to unlock Site B and the rest of the game was focussed on the Build a Park that wasnt sandbox in the terms of; You have everything unlocked from the get go.

No, no it won't and you'd be an idiot to think it can. Black & White 2 never had a sandbox and everyone stopped playing it because of that.

I dont care about Site B. Never did. Was.... meh. I prefer to feed people to my dinos anyway. I think ill even open up part of the park to feed people to my dinos cause I hate them. LOL.


I would like a sandbox or cheat codes. Honestly, I'd prefer the cheat codes like JPOG has which turns it into a sandbox.

Or, less us change up the files so we start with X amount of money and all of that like JPOG. I mean I get that DRM is going to stop it but still.



Oh. And I hope they do paid DLC"s as well as free ones, ONLY if it means they can do big updates and keep expanding like year 1, 2 and 3 passes like in Rainbow Six siege.

Yes, I know that paid DLC"s are annoying and I loved Witcher 3, but I see the point in having them esp with R6 seige, considering how long they have been doing updates. They are in their third year and I dont think many games get that far.

I love how people are already saying that there is no sandbox mode in this game when all we have seen was DEMO gameplay which was a tutorial island on some on the basics of the gameplay that isn't even finished and will be touched up on.

The DEVELOPERS never said that there is no sandbox mode, they have said absolutely nothing, no information about what else is in the game other than what we've seen in the DEMO. They are keeping everything very secretive at the moment as I'm very sure by the looks of it that they want to surprise us JP fans.

Frontiers Planet Coaster has a CAMPAING AND A SANDBOX MODE, another park management game, but obviously in a different style than Jurassic World: Evolution.

STOP assuming there won't be this or that when the developers haven't even said ANYTHING, not a yes or a no, about it. There is still 2 more months until the game is released, there is plenty of time for improvement and news updates.

Remember all we have seen was DEMO Gameplay footage of only ONE Island out of SIX, a tutorial island.

It's all about money, if we offer them money for a sandbox mode it most likely will happen. Would you be willing to pay? I would.

did you ever consider that universal or fox or whoever owns the rights to jurassic park just told the devs: hey, theres a new movie coming out, make a cool park sim game so we can cash in on that. but they do not have the license to make a sandbox mode cause then it could cause franchise problems, with people going around claiming this is part of jurassic park lore.
i think the studios just want to make a quick buck with the movie coming out, but are holding the leash very tight on their franchise.
im assuming for the all out park experience we have to wait for frontiers own IP in the form of planet zoo or something, cause then no one can tell them how to design their game.

When companies hold a leash to tight that's when pirates come to strike. Universal is already using Denuvo which is pretty much like chum to pirates who are like hungry sharks.
