Are your rangers able to be killed/wounded

Everything about this game seems very interesting and fun.. Im excited.

But scanning some topics around here has me a bit worried about the mechanics of your rangers.. Quite a few people are stating they are not able to be attacked and it is sort of unclear if this is true or not... I have not seen any gameplay of them being attacked.

Now, I think it would make the game much more exciting if there was a threat to them.. It would also add additional depth to this particular aspect of the gameplay since you have to make the decision to send them in and sometimes you may be understaffed and instead decide to use a more expensive helicopter for the safety of your staff.
More reasons to upgrade your security,equipment and tools and more financial juggling is always a good thing in these types of games.

Also just imagine being in the jeep and being chased by the trex while your trying to tranq it... Holy crap that would be cool. Cmon!

It will be just like in the movies JURASSIC PARK / JURASSIC WORLD just like in the trailer of JURASSIC WORLD EVOLUTION and just like in Reality. A lot of people mention it and what i believe will make Jurassic World EVOLUTION a real game.

1.The repair team ..for example the fence , I notice that when repairing it , its done in a blink of an eye .. I would like ( THREE WORKERS IN THE RANGER JEEP , instead of two ) And see all three of them get off the jeep ( one as a scout and two repair men to fix the fence , when refilling the feeders or when treating a dinosaur ) and repair it for real like its Shown in the Trailer of JWE , were the T-Rex breaks through the fence and the employs run scared for there life , like when constructing a building or just like in all the movies. And depending on the weight of the damage , it will take time to repair the damage , making it more dangerous for the workers and more chances for the dinosaurs '' TO FIND A WAY '' if you know what I mean...

2.Ranger animations.
This is a BIG WISH
Please have the rangers actually do things rather than just sit in the jeep. I want to see them drive the jeep, stop the jeep, GET OUT of the jeep and physically work on what is required e.g. Replenishing feeders, fixing/maintaining fences, examining sick/injured dinosaurs like DR.HARDING IN THE FIRST FILM!!!! C'mon guys this should be a must have, I don't like the look of just driving to said issue, clicking a button and *Bing* good as new.

Around 3:35 he mentions , "Lack of Physical Reality to Park Workers" .

This is what JURASSIC PARK / WORLD movies and games are all about , MANAGEMENT.
The Suspense , The Danger , Getting Worried , Afraid and Taking Care of my Employs and Visitors , Keeping an Eye on Them.
To See Them at Work , Having a Meaning and NOT ( Like Ghost that have Telepathic Powers or can Resist a Nuclear Bomb/Explosion ).
If we can't Manage our Employs than it's like it's on Autopilot and that dose't feel right for Jurassic World or Management game.
Anything less then that is going to be '' A WALK IN THE PARK ''.

Please Take This Into Consideration.

I would imagine that there would be an optional DLC/FLC in the future to allow park rangers to be attacked/eaten. Adding more blood effects and difficulty to the game. After all for realease they seem to be focusing on a wider age range so keeping things reasonably "PG" or "T" seems to be a simple buisness move by Universal. However this does not mean the option could not be made available in the future. Here is to hoping :P

Agreed, the lack of human interaction in this game is really a big disappointment, especially when in the CGI trailer we see that ranger team phsically working on an fence. I don't understand how (as the community manger said) "Watching a pack of raptors chasing your jeep is cool" when theere is absolutely no threat for your team to be killed/harmed. I was really looking forward to send out ranger teams to do tasks while having the chopper securing them from the sky, or having someone with a tranquilizer rifle standing guard during the repairs etc.

The Jurassic Park movies are mostly about the dangers that the people find themselves in, so how can they decide to completely ignore that aspect in a bloody JP game...

My rangers keep getting attacked so often I’ve given up medicating dinosaurs and just let them sicken and die, or starve to death! It’s so frustrating! If the dinosaurs wanna attack my rangers then they don’t deserve any food or medicine! Argh!

I had a tricera attacking and destroying my jeep very quickly. it is the only time a jeep was destroyed. i was sort of expecting a big carnivorous dinosaur to be the one to take chunks out of the ride if it was destroyed first time.

I replaced the jeep right away after it was destroyed. The previous jeep was filling a feeder at the time, but managed to get it sorted before it was destroyed, so at least it wasn't entirely useless.

Learn to do it yourself so that it isn't such a problem.
