One time I fenced in the guest area and let the dinosaurs roam free outside that area. When a dinosaur was rampaging (even when it was not contained within any kind of enclosure) it still went to the fenced off visitor area and broke the fencing. Dinosaurs are programmed to seek out a fence and smash it, even if the animal itself is not fenced in.
