You know, if you ditched Uplay and just hosted the game on steam you would make a lot more money. I wont go near Uplay and its not just me.

I`m a bit confused.

I played the closed alpha version just fine with no problem.
So i pre ordered The Crew 2, loving the first edition and all.
Then when the closed beta came, the game suddenly would not run because of my processor not being supported as noted in the update changes.
So i mailed with ubisoft about it and they sayed my specs where to low.
So i could ask for a refund and i did.

For the record, my pc specs are an Intel Core i7 920 processor.
This processor would not run the retail game because the game changed in some way that older chips would not be supported as Ubisoft support told me.

Then when the open beta was going on i got curious and wanted to see if it still would'nt run as it should'nt.
But it did, after not getting the never ending boot logo the game runs fine.
My question now is.. is my processor supported or not in the retail version.

What supported specs are true.

Because there are 2 big diffrence when i lookup the specs online.
The English version says that processors without AVX is NOT supported.
Where the Dutch version says it does???

De Crew 2 is compatibel met processoren die de AVX-instructieset niet bevatten. De game is volledig speelbaar, met als enige uitzondering de video-opnametool in de game.​
