Impossible Ace Races to Win- Bayou Rally Raid- and others
ran this a dozen times and with the puegot as ai car and all best rr trucks jeeps even bikes. its like that golden hills TC race on ace u cannot win, and the RR pursuit in Florida, space something.. the Ace times are too steep a reduction from 'hard', and most people-hundreds of thousands of people!- cannot reasonably, fairly compete/complete these on Ace.
yall need a fix these.

AND... its not recording for two races now where Ive beat my former best time with the raptor, ive beat it by 1 and 2 secs and it is NOT recording them on leader board Ive tried checking back in 5 mins, 10 mins, an hour.
the ai puegot just walks by and away when u hit water, i have the same car and the problem is drag in water.

when u drive thru water whatever car including the puegot with 51% muddy, massive boosted nos, bumper, everything u slow down to 114 115, 116 maybe, and the ai puegot just catches up, goes by, an pulls away.
it has no drag in water it seems, and its worse at the end in deeper water where it pulls away out of sight.
please fix

still says for raptor best time 202 heres a third time ive beat that by 1 or 2 secs with ariel nomad

flatouts look too messy and drifty... flatout4 walkthrough i watched
looks like i would have to compensate for the game mechanics...

burnout paradise... 60 hours last played in sep 2019....
i thought i played it more.. i did like the mechanics of that game
as crashing is so me.... and the mechanics feel good on that game too...
i would play that game more if they had summits and stuff to keep me going..

and see how much i enjoy the TC2 close to almost 100x the hours of BP
i really like the way the cars handle in TC2

must admit all the other games new and coming out have not grabbed me yet....
if i see forza on steam for $4 i might give it a shot.....

keep your focus on TC2.... get the gold parts win summits and boosted parts
grind grind grind grind...

and grind grind grind grind...

win a New York HC race atleast once a week....
Ribalder 26. März 2023 um 14:33
why do that NY HC?. I really fell out of lov w any HC races the trickery, the traffic,.. easy win on Ace ye, but long, twitchy, full of blind turns, nighttime wet roads, 90degree turn cresting a hill at 287. too long, too twitchy, too much hazards an traffic an tricks. theres several shorter ones I still do, but longer ones..nah.
too bad, cos I like those cars. but HC races kind a suck.

I dont get locked into any one type or track. not concerned with world time, Im trying to have enjoyment, pleasure from the race.
on parts boosting?... Im cheap. haha. I regret all the time n moneys I put into RR Bayou for an Ace win. no win on Ace after few tries?.. i walk away, not falling for that, most of the regret is the money I put into parts on one car for one damn race.

after the boost price gets higher than like 2000 for a tiny percentage increase.. Im looking at my cash thinking what car/s Im wanting to buy next haha.
especially if I already win it on Ace.. not going to sink my hard earned moneys into parts for one car for one race. thats them squeezing u so u pay real money for CC an scrap to sink into parts- to get those top times.
I get it- thats what u have to do if u have the goal of top times but Im not. Im casual player here for the cars an bikes, cost enough right there.

same thing happened in GTA. new 2million dollar super cars an special vehicles every week.
killer missions that cost u to even start them, then payout pennys. after costs, u making sh*t wasted alot o time n money.
oh well, just buy them shark cards. welp- thereyago. same BS.
-thatgames Been hacked to death twice three times over cos they went there.. so F them thats what u get-

i had a different strategy when i was new...
i did all the stuff i could do with what i had
and what i was getting..... and worked on
getting better parts for what i needed in the summits...
i didnt actually have gold sets for what seemed a long time in the beginning
and i never really focused on one race... i just moved on to the next and tried
hard to get platinum in the summits... and did all the photo op side mission
that seemed to pay well... it really took me a while to get used to this game...

i have always been addicted to getting icon points.... grind... grind... grind....

and then there was aerobatic planes... car drifting.. and boats... plus i had
a few really crap controllers that i didnt know had alignment issues that
were making things much harder as well.... for months and months lol...
atleast now i can look bad on my own with a good controller

it also did take me a while to get into the new york run.. but as you
get better parts and start to learn the tracks... new york is easy money...
my best NY times were 31 and 32 minutes for a very long time..
consistently getting under 30 minutes on NY is still somewhat new to me...

this game doesnt really reward that well.... it is a grinder grinder grinder game...

and even if you did spend/waste money.... its still a grinder grinder grinder game

the cars and driving is good.... the maps are good..
summits can be good when the boosted parts are good....

maybe you well get the crew2 bug like a few us here.... maybe you wont...
Ribalder 26. März 2023 um 23:33
yeah this was a comeback Ive got 800+ hrs, I get hooked back in when I see some cars an new races on the steam page updates.

I did alot of racing an the summit, and motorpasses, got the new Saleen touring car, did a bunch a those races even some of the 'frozen' ones- just like drifting.
and the Bugatto Chiron 300, and the Mclaren Senna, a Mitsu 3000GT from that new series of street races, and like 3 cars from 'stories' rare but not any good in their classes, old stuff a 550 spyder, a Jag E coupe old racing car, and a Spyker C8 Aileron version.

also got back into RR races as u know- The Bayou an all the rest, beat my time at a couple of them. beat Tuck on Ace that horrible snowy mountains race.

But that Ariel Nomad that finally won Ace at Bayou is not good at other RR tracks.
My Jeep Moab is. and I spent more than I liked to boosting its everything, then I grinded it for gold parts for that class, all good there now.

and now Im back at FH4, gave me a bunch a cars, an fortune Island alot of offroad racing I like. its not as twitchy as TC2, and they keep giving me cars, I drove thru a bush an they gave me a Huracan.. everything u do or race is points like crazy, but I'll be back brutha keep grinding-

/ps- all this driving I overnighted a pair of those blu-blocker screen glasses, and they work. theyre clear an light an comfortable and no more eye strain/headache.
u need a set haha.
Zuletzt bearbeitet von Ribalder; 26. März 2023 um 23:45
i have prescription lenses....
have had blue blockers before... they are good and do relax your eyes..
really good for real driving but i have to go with clarity over tint these days...

800 hours is definitely a investment in this game....
i am surprised your still struggling with parts and stuff....

I weekly watch summits to see what all the top players are
doing and what they are doing it in.... some cars really do make
more of a difference than others depending on the race.... and the
experts are far better guides to follow.... i dont really do crew/team
stuff anymore... so i know i am usually gonna be lots of seconds
behind anyone in teams doing slip stream speeds... but i have
the ground work and lots of help from people here to make
this game a lot of fun for me all the time..

you need to do everything.... and lots of weekly summits...

9999 icon points is the goal... :summer2019vehiclecorgi:
Ribalder 27. März 2023 um 8:17
yeah the glasses?.. they work donno why I didnt have before..
800 is some hours but I never bought into their 'system', the summit bs, buy these cars this week for this summit, or motorpass buy all that each week, like I said Im cheap, even with game money haha I like cashola in the acct, and when the price to boost parts gets too high Im out, not gonna play that either, buy CC an scrap with real money uh uh.

so I wont be top player, I still get into some low thousands.
I applaud your determination and skill, thats a huge thing no. 1 noone can say any less, and Im not putting that effort down, I just saw the work time an costs an said nah.. lol

I have some good times on some stuff... MX, I was down in the 174 or something didnt push the parts and race it over n over to get lower. got tired of it.
not really struggling for parts, just RR, an thats good now. HC is good. those were the only ones, and I beat tuck and Ace at Bayou.
thanks for all the help an advice. Im happy with the 1:58 beats Ace get gold parts, I spent way more than I like on RR parts boosting. wooo.

did some other RR's, the pursuit ones theres one (on ace) just noway even though raptor is all gold an modestly boosted, the Ai's just too magical and just too frustrating.
that would take too much precious cash in parts boosting for one race on Ace., seems like they've been tweaked noway to get 12 outlaws on Ace in the Florida space center woods one, no, cant do it, I'll walk away.. rather than blow mils on parts an run it a million times.
thats not fun. thats not me.

ever tried DD?, I got back into it, you should try that its 'fun' not stressful twitchy long high speed runs, just dirt track fun- the parts r whack though, u can get some gold parts early on then get blue or pink ones that are better and increase cars overall numbers.
theres some that r dirt track races not all are the crash n smash figure eights u think of as DD. fun fun. car handling is awesome on dirt.
Im already bored tired frustrated an left for a return to FH4 haha, I got lots to do there, lots o cars I want still, and the racing is like more real. simulation almost. and more fun Id say.
the Ai r still/always retarded, but the sense of speed is there, u can feel the grip in corners, an when ur losing it.
its winter for 7 days, then spring for 7 days, so racing in snow for 7 days I
use certain cars, like my cayman or 911 S, even a aston martin, then in springtime the supercars- theyre pretty much un-driveable in winter.

and theres offroad galore, just go over to the island (fortune?) and play with all the trucks broncos suvs jeeps, so much fun. only thing is A is E-brake in Forza, and boost in TC2, so going back an forth I hit the E-brake for boost once in awhile haha that dont help.
or the boost in TC2 when I want E-brake lol.
i aint doing no forza unless its $4...
i watched some vids meh... its just more of the same... lol

DD crew 2 demolition derby or some other DD game..
i have done everything you can do in the crew 2
apart from some of the explorer missions..
i'm to old to be doing smash up stuff all the time...
DD every now and then in this game is fine...
i got a few of the rally games a while back..
but theyre just toooooo serious... crew 2 is my
kind of fun...

your strategy seems all wrong for this game...
you build up the stuff you enjoy so you can do
the other stuff later on down the track when
you got the parts you need... and the skill...

there are no tracks you cant do... but you might need to
skill up your driving even with the right/best parts and vehicle/s...

i never thought i would be doing the bayou
track in the nomad and getting my best times...
so thanks to you for your muddy parts imput... lol

and you can definitely win the bayou in the peugeot....
sooooooo misleading post title much.... lol
Ribalder 27. März 2023 um 15:07
there i changed the offending title.

it basically is impossible for 400,000 to over 600,000 PLAYERS on this & some other RR's and TC's to win on Ace to get gold parts w/out going broke boosting parts and then have to buy CC and scrap to boost parts enough to win THAT race ON ACE.. "pay to win"

so maybe 4000 people or so can beat these on Ace,.. the few who have played this for years, and understand the parts boosting money game u have to pay to win- thats what it basically is.
buy CC and scrap with real money because BOYOBOY, are u gonna need to invest tons of it into your car for wins in Ace at these an others.

Ive been there, when u run out of money because a 3% boost in some parts category now costs $12,500. for a single 3% boost!. I had that amount on a part and nearly that on the others to squeak by a Ace win- and I had to stop myself because my cash was getting low, Im not willing to spend THAT much on parts for one car one race, and regret getting caught up in this uber-expensive parts boosting nonsense. it takes too much money u could go broke for a Ace win on these one race on one track.
not to mention the time an frustration of re-running it a million times.

most people and most races u can achieve an Ace win without too much crazy spending on parts boosting, some driving skill, know the route, corners, hazards etc and the wild card- traffic.
no traffic here at Bayou, but theres water slow-down effect lots an lots of different routes, and hazards. the way the Ai cuts thru that water just wasnt considered it was programmed to drive a certain time for Ace, and it just doesnt have the drag.

golden hills on Ace that guy in lambo just goes... theres nothing u can do about it. just cant catch him no matter what car- here again you'd have to spend hundreds and hundreds of thousands into parts boosting for the Ace win.
here again the few winning on Ace are willing to spend real money to boost their parts enough to win.

they walk a pretty close line most races for their Ace times, u can get some gold parts, boost them some, and squeak by. thats good enough for me, just get the Ace win.
but SOME races its huge amounts of cash an scrap to boost the parts enough, an if u dont have it- well, theyre happy to sell it to u for real money. "pay to win".

well u say ur not forced to do it, u can just be happy with wins on normal and hard, take the winnings and buy a car u like or try boat races or whatever, but for those that cant stand losing, they got em.
once u fold and start paying real money for stuff they got u.

now buying CC for some car bundles or special cars u lov I can see.
your a lower level, and race wins aren't that much, and u want a certain car. u dont care what class it is, its the new hypercar supercar whatever an its pretty and u want it.
then buy it enjoy it there u got something for ur money everyone's happy.
20 USD for a Bugatti or Enzo sure why not nowadays thats the way it is.

But that car wont automatically make u win at summit or a race or anywhere it still has to have the gold parts, and the gold parts need to be boosted.
so thats a double win for them. buy CC for the car, buy more CC AND scrap to boost its parts. cool huh?.

and theres 7 parts category's each with 2 items to boost. with money. lots an lots o money. which u run out of & have to buy game money with real money. and scrap.
buy THAT with real money.
thats pay-to-win in its sincerest form my friend
and thats how they do it.

playing FH4 now, an oya- I bought like all the d/l content car packs etc for that hahaa
but Im having much more fun than TC2. TC2 is a sneaky way they get people to pay to win with parts an scrap an bs.
I cant believe I got so wrapped up in that one race at Bayou and spent all that money an time on it plllllttttt, good ol crew..
Zuletzt bearbeitet von Ribalder; 27. März 2023 um 15:23
LOL.... nice title...

what part of "this game is a grind grind grind" are you missing.... lol

of pay cash.. options...

You are aware you can move full sets of parts
from car to car now... first priority grind for gold nitro sets
second - grind for gold part sets...

some races you need scorebreakers... so that is priority too

you only need one good set of gold in most of the classes...
and once you get that set... you are set... you should be able
to do it all from that point...

I am really not a good race driver.... what people can do in one race
i usually have to grind 100 or more times...... lol but i have gotten better
and my sequential driving is on the up and that can add some speed as well....
i am sort of proof that there is nothing you cant do... if you grind grind grind time/parts/money and development better driving skills..

i think i would be turning the stereo up if you were in my car..... LOL
Ribalder 28. März 2023 um 18:00
got it.. but
could u explain that stuff about grinding one more time?
this is my current HC new york run music...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsP-IsPyGPs
see you at the finish line...
Ribalder 28. März 2023 um 22:59
I'll give it a listen.
I started Forza with the music at half, its good enough in-game music I just turned it up a notch. haha, music on racing is new to me, I kinda like it.
