Hey there sailormarsfan1701,
Apologies for the delayed response!
How are you getting on?
You should be able to change your controller bindings in the Settings > Controls menu in-game.
If you still need assistance at all, please do let us know!

Hi, sorry for the late response.
If you are still experiencing this issue can you try toggling Xbox Configuration Support on / off on Steam.
You can do this in Steam > Settings > Controller > General Controller Settings.
If that still doesn't work then try the following:
. Go to your Steam library and right click the mouse button on The Crew 2
. Select properties and click on the controller tab
. If it shows as 'Use Default Settings' click on it and select 'Disable Steam Input'
. Launch the game and try again

ive had this same problem and tried what you have suggested but it hasnt changed and the controls are still jumbled. ive played the game before with a xbox controller with no problems and suddenly one day the controls go all wrong.
pls help
Sorry to read that the issue still persists for you.
I would recommend deleting the configuration file to eliminate possible errors in it or to apply the changes in the system to the game as well. The file will then be automatically regenerated the next time the game is started. The configuration file to be deleted can be found by default in the following folder:
"Documents" - > The Crew 2 -> PlayerLocalSetting
Once deleted, please verify the game files:

Then just to narrow everything down, please perform a clean installation of the latest driver of your controller (if you have any installed)

i've tryed to launch with and without steam input but it also didn't work, keyboard work good, i've tryed to update drivers and other things but also im at the same point. I've got 2 WIRED controllers , 1 original ps4 controller and 1 original xbox one controller. Of course i've tryed to unplug and plug them but it also didnt work and i've tryed to contact ubisoft and ea assistance but they still not reponding me still for 2 weeks and i'm feeling that i've bought those games just for doing a donation cause i cannot play them. i beg you to help me cause i really want to play those games (sorry for the bad english)
I got it, tried to solve it, got mad, and uninstalled the game some time ago.
Contemplated about getting forza 5 recently, but decided to install again to see if they solved this. Of course not... How is that possible? It's really unbelievable... I'll try to find ways to solve this... If nothing works, well, ubi lost another player.
