Can You Reset Career Progress??

Can you reset career progress in this game or is it like the first one?

With the first one by the time i got my wheel etc setup and mapped and had a few casual races to get familia with the wheel and the handling of the cars, I decided to take the game seriously but I couldnt start from the beginning. I had missed some important stuff (like the basic how to tutorials) and all the stroy line up to this point so now when i return, im 25% through the game and have no idea whats going on, or even how to play really so i cant see the point to continue

Can someone advise Is if this game progress resettable, if its not im not going to worry about buying it

I don't see the point to reset your progress in The Crew 2, if you could (never tried to look it up).
There is almost literally no story, you just do races and get life advices in between with bad voice acting, so you won't miss anything really.
All the races are replayable, you can play them anytime you want after you beat them.

I'd like to know this too. Sometimes it's fun to start from scratch.

two very different games.. The Crew is far better, plus all the DLC cheap.. This games a bit of a dumpster fire at the moment.. Wait until Dec for proper multiplayer or or get Forza Horizon 4 in Oct.

I need to reset mine because it started mistakenly because there was NO BACK COMMAND when I went into it. The screen was the wrong size, it selected some character, and I think I missed a cutscene.

I'm sorry to tell you. You cannot reset the progress or restart from scratch likes TC1. This game is stored on a cloud server. After beating 100%. I'm recommended to keep grinding and motivation to do something else. Find the live reward crate, PVP and Summit each week to get an XP Boost, Try a new track, Replay with pro-settings an ace mode.

Starting from scratch is really good for you but only minority players around 5% need it.
I give a warning to you before attempting it.
Summit Exclusive Vehicle won't be unlocked outside of the summit event for another account. (E.g.Lamborghini Huracan Performante, Ferrari F12 TDF and Special Edition vehicle etc.)
You have to wait for long and try again for a re-run.

As the others have mentioned, there is no way to reset progress nor disable Cloud Saving for TC2, since everything is stored in the backend.

And what happens if a save gets corrupted on the backend?
The complete lack of help from Ubisoft is what lead to me getting a refund on what should've been a fun game to play with my friends.

There is no way to disable "cloud saving". TC2 is 100% Online only game. Everything (except configs)are stored on servers.

So the company is saying only one player can play this game. I don't remember seeing that when I purchased it so how do I get them to refund the game for false advertising?

How do I get now the achievement Welcome to MotorNation ? I played the "demo" of the game. Now I cannot start from scratch but the most commong achievement is Welcome to MotorNation, which is playing the intro. Can I actually play the intro and get all first achievements?

This game is so stupid from the framerate lock to this not being able to restore the progress.....

This entire game comes out of the back end. You guys have totally ruined it.

I have the same question, because i played in Ubisoft Plataform to test, and now, i have decided Buy in Steam.
The Achievement is showing on Ubisoft, but not showing in Steam...

Somebody can help to solve that?

Well achievements will not get trasferred over from platform to platform...so if you want to have the achievements, you will have to play the steam version from the beginning.
