Hi Everyone !

At this stage, we are unable to guarantee full compatibility between Ubisoft games and services and Steam Deck / SteamOS.

Certain games could work; however, we are unable to assist in case of compatibility issues.

You can also reach out to the Steam Deck discussions for support.

If you have questions, or for any other issue, don't hesitate to let us know !

I just came here to see if any progress had been made on this, still waiting I guess. The Crew 1 works great with Proton, it sucks that TC2 is literally one developer checkbox away from being playable and Ubisoft still won't do it.

Ubisoft has been a major ♥♥♥♥ towards linux usually. A lot of their games don't work on linux due to them using battleye and not really allowing said linux machines to connect. Sometimes you can install and launch but not connect, sometimes it won't even launch at all. Honestly devs that do this, suck, a lot.
any news somebody?
Guys I'm joining the conversation in case there's any news, I'm seriously buying Forza Horizon 5 right now just to play it on the Steam Deck, it's very sad being a big fan of The crew 2

In short, it is impossible to play The Crew 2 on Steam Deck and move on to another game like Forza Horizon 5. 🤷🏻‍♂️

You don't have to guarantee support, just enable Battleye's Proton compatibility checkbox and let Valve and the Linux community handle the rest.

Hey atmur,

More that we just don't have any information at this time to confirm if this will / won't be supported in future.

We are not developers for the game, so we're unable to immediately action the suggestions here, this would be at the discretion of the game team, to whom we've passed your feedback on to.

Should we hear anything further, we'll let you know.

Thank you for your understanding.
