Bad stuttering
So i have really bad stuttering when i have very close ti recomennded requirement but my fps is very its actually 60 but it stutters really bad and ive tried disabling fullscreen optizimations and disabling ubisoft overly and i am trying updating my graphic driver please help if that doesnt work :) .

(from now on this is july 21 after like 60 comments lol i thought it was just me having issues with game ) so for me updating drivers fixed stutters quite a bit it might be later than version 471.11 so but then my pc started turning off when playing any game so then i got a gtx 1060 but that didnt fix pc crash but reseting windows did and for me its solved (just to know it did stutter a little in grid 2019 but it was worse in crew 2 like unplayable) and yeah im happy my pc started crashing because i got 1060 which is an upgrade

i think this is a ubisoft problem...
the stuttering started after the last
major update... before that it was
close to perfect... rtx 2070 here..

I have the same. I had it installed on HDD by the way. Did you guys install it on SSD and have the issue still? Will try my SSD this evening too.

same for me, both on SSD and HDD the game simply doesn't work, the performance is terrible which means the game is unplayble. Imagine drifting while your fps drops below 40. I couldn't find anything which will fix this issue, I guess the game's engine simply doesn't bear the amount of updates it has.

I've noticed a trend when you've played more than 24 hours in general (from statistics) the game becomes unplayable, dunno what causes this but for me it did happened.

i can say.... not game breaking bad...

i get the most stuttering at the start
of a race and on corners in particular
it seems... and then it seems to
smooth out with the odd stutter
here and there... i should pay more
attention but it happens and isnt
constant enough to be a major
concern for me.. but... it never used
to happen like it does now prior to that update

seems less in New York HC and the longer races
and regular in start ups on short races..

Hey guys!

Thank you for reaching out to us with this!

As ragefifty50 has noted - is it the same for you all, where the stuttering is particularly noticeable at the start of a race?

And could you please give the steps[support.ubisoft.com] in our PC troubleshooting guide a try as these are designed to address performance issues.

Let us know how you get on, thank you!

- Ubisoft Support
followed the steps...

upgraded my Nvidia drivers clean install from year old 451. to latest 471.....
the stuttering is not only worse its increased and there is also something
else going on now like frames and being taken out totally effecting my experience now...

great going...

this is a UBI soft problem.... stop blaming the customer and making
us do stuff we dont really need to do... i hope i can go back to my 451
and reduce these problems
not only was it worse... it gave me sore eyes and headache.

switcthed back to 451 Nvidia drivers from 21 July 2020 much better again...

I have uploaded a video to demonstrate. Both low and ultra settings. And one part flying (ultra settings). I tested it in a city as it's usually there. FPS counter is at bottom right.

Some notes: I first thought it was the high speeds giving the issue. But I noticed it's happening most of the time trough/after turns. When going in a straight line it sticks to 60FPS.

My specs:
RTX 2060
AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
16GB 3000Mhz DD4 Ram - dual channel
Game installed on SSD (doesn't make a difference with this issue, tried both)

Comparison video of someone with a near similar rig. All smooth.

Maybe, maybe not. All we can do is work together towards a solution!

it was fine til they did that 2nd last upgrade...
thats when the stutter started for me... on "medium"

anyway... i aint a ultra junkie.... so no stutter on low setting is fine by me...
and the new 471 Nvidia drivers are terrible for this game... in "medium"
so thats for both of them to work out..... and not the customer...

Without good feedback, issues will not get solved magically

exactly... well i rolled back my drivers.... no one is saying to do that...

my feedback still stands...
the problems started when the devs did the upgrade.....
and it wasnt fixed on the last upgrade...

Same problem. Game was fine until July 4. Then as the latest update dropped on July 5 i.e. yesterday, I'm having low frame rates and stuttering. Just as ragefifty50 said, more so on short races and at start ups and also while cornering. It's making PvP impossible to play.
