CRASHING ON STARTUP!
Have a copy of the crew 2 and when i press play it takes roughly 20 seconds to boot in a black screen and then crashes. I've tried verifying game cache, I've tried updating and reverting to an older version of my GPU drivers and nothing works.

Specs

i7-7700k
EVGA GTX1060 6gb SC
16GB ddr4 LPX 2133mhz c13
VS550 PSU

I had the same issue. Edit file PCScalability.xml in your’s documents location. There should be folder named The Crew 2 and this file in here. Open this file by notepad or something and change value for Appearance from 2 to 1. It worked for me but I have other issues now. Random crashes and I can not change any graphical settings because attempt to save them finishes with crash.

I,m wondering, if this steam related. I,m playing on Uplay and never have a single crash. Do you all play from Steam? Someone else here at the forum suggested to close Nvidia Experience just before starting the game. You might try that.

Solution for one problem: Solved by the COMMUNITY! You have to replace the BEservice_x64 file in the game folder with the one that was used in closed beta. If you dont have, you can find it on ubisoft forum.
So its fact that ubi messed up with battleeye.

Why do we need to fix it by ourself? patching, copy & pasting.......
a game to start like an illegal copy version :(
