Hey Shylock,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
While your home network may be running as normal and connecting to most servers without issue, this isn't a guarantee that it's able to communicate with the servers for The Crew 2 correctly.
If you haven't done so already, please make sure to give the troubleshooting steps linked above a try.[www.ubisoft.com]
If those steps don't resolve your issue, you're more than welcome to contact us directly via our Support Site[ubi.li] or you can also reach us on Facebook[ubi.li] and Twitter[ubi.li].
Thank you!

Sorry I am not a network engineer to understand these technical stuff, I play video games. The ubisoft launcher asked for 10+ permission while installing to change this and that, why can't it configure things it need even after so much system permission? I have requested a refund from steam, I cant do network engineering to play video game, it should be configured automatically by the game installer.
When this happens to me, I always give the okay, as the game is usually asking to install either anti-cheat software or supporting software it needs to run adjacent to the game.
This is the case for The Crew 2 with it being an always-online game. Thank you for sharing your concerns over this.
