Please make sure you are running The Crew 2, Steam and the Uplay client with {LINK REMOVED}administrator rights.
If this does not resolve your issue, please try reinstalling the game.
If you continue to experience issues after this, can you please create a case on the {LINK REMOVED}support website
Thanks.

I fixed it by running it with administrator rights. The first time I tried that I right click the program and ran it that way but it didn't work. Thankyou for helping!
Mine is setup like this, yours might (probably is) be a different path :
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\The Crew 2
Within the folder you should find the TheCrew2.exe, there you can change it's properties!
If you have to verify game files with every restart, that's not a game issue. It could be telling us 1 of 2 things -
- There is a permissions issue where you have the game installed. In which case I recommend launching both Ubisoft Connect, Steam and the game as administrator: https://support.ubisoft.com/Article/000060505
Or...
- You have an anti-virus installed that is quarantining / deleting the game files, and so they need to be re-downloaded every time. Try making sure the game is trusted.
I hope that helps!

Its look like for some reason some people are not able to reach the step where the game need to be sync with steam account...
In that case just add an option to manually sync steam account to Ubi connect, that will resolve this issue.
If its a requirement issue like cpu instruction, just add a line about that for exemple : "the game do not support non AVX cpu, please check your cpu spec before buying".... Most of ppl will compare there cpu frequency and will not dig about the information, so everyone who got something with a higher clock and higher/same number of core than an Intel® Core™ i5-2400S will think they reach the requirement and get highly disapointed.
So its not a mistake but a commercial strategy to fool the people.... its Ubi under the pressure of the investment Cie.
I'm sorry to see you're unable to launch the game!
May we please know your specs and if you receive any error messages at any point at all?
Please also make sure that you give the steps[support.ubisoft.com] in our PC troubleshooting guide a try, including verifying the game's files[ubi.li] which will scan for and repair any missing or damaged game files.
Please let us know how you get on and if there's anything more we can help with at all.
Thank you!
