Is it the entire game that is running at 10fps or is it only specific areas? Can you also let me know your system specs?
-Ubisoft Support
I bought the game recently, and could not get to the main part of the game: driving
The game stays between 5 or 10 frames per second all the time, I could not drive in the world of The Crew 2 because it is impossible, I could not get past the part of character creation, this fps is from the start of the game, in the parts of the warnings, in the introduction and finally in the main menu, probably in the open world as well.
With lots of research, including looking around here in the community, and having access to players with the same problem I have, we all have something in common: The Hardware.
We all had AMD Ryzen Processors with an integrated GPU (APU's) - the ones I'll say below -
Ryzen 3 2200g Vega 8 and
Ryzen 5 24000g Vega 11 (desktop versions)
And in the notebook versions so far, I've only encountered people having a problem with Ryzen 5 2400u with Vega 8 (Integrated graphics) in The crew 2
We believe that it is an optimization problem in relation to our hardware. I already sent a support message to ubi and they told me to upgrade to the latest drivers and I did, but there were no changes. According to the task manager, the game reaches 100% of the CPU and 1% of the GPU, but when we go on the '' Processes '' tab to see how much the crew 2 is using on the use of gpu is oscillating between 50% and 100%.
My system specs:
Processor - Ryzen 3 2200g with Vega 8
GPU / APU - Vega 8 integrated gpu. (I tried to use 2gb vram and 1gb vram made no difference)
RAM - 8gb ram dual channel (2x4gb ram)
Motherboard - ASUS for AMD AM4 mATX PRIME A320M-K / BR, 2x DDR4, VGA / HDMI, M.2, USB 3.1, AI Suite 3, Ai Charge, ASUS Fan Xpert, Supports Ryzen 2000
Ubisoft, please I'm begging you to solve it as fast as you can because I bought the game recently and I'm really looking forward to playing this amazing game!
- Feeling sad about what is happening to us -
My system specs :
CPU - Ryzen 3 2200g with Vega 8
GPU/APU - Vega 8 integrated GPU 2gb
RAM - 12GB DDR4 2400
Motherboard - Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3
Hope you guys at Ubisoft release an update that could fix this problem. Thank you.

I have already sent this file 2 times try at least give us a HOPE of solving this problem, if you are the developers. At least the above developer tried to understand our situation...
was steering to the left but car didnt response . retry - worked perfect ......
please fix it i appreciate the game no performance issues but this was real.
its because of the only player traffic. im sure, check the servers. you know what to do i dont have to tell you ;D
great job , add some world detail and and more traffic if you like to let players have more fun playing.
guys be aware of its online and the world constantly have to load and refresh and there are a lot of players online and of course ;D we/they do and try crazy stuff
no offend i play on 60 / high / and it performs well.
my rig for casual ; i5latest 6gbnvidia 16gb
The guy up there has 12 gb ram and uses 2gb vram, the problem isnt the ram or the vram. I explained exactly what happened when we opened The Crew 2, I think I'll have to record it to u guys understand.
It is not only because the hardware is not considered as a requirement that it can not run, as I said I met people who run perfectly in mid-high at 30fps! If you want you can see the '' bechmark '' my dear. But thank you for giving your opinion if you can help in any way tell me becuz this support looks to do nothing.
I didnt get my money back just to play the game, and have a minimal hope they would solve this problem that clearly looks like BAD OPTIMIZATION.
Edit: U said that the games uses 2000mb vram more but the fps stay 4-8fps ALL THE TIME
So if you think that introduction of how The crew 2 is just a fictional game and bla bla uses 2gb vram +
palms to you (No offense)
I guarantee you will get a response guys, due to the holiday period there may be a slightly longer wait than usual though
