Steering Wheel Problems
I use a Logitech Momo Racing and everything seems to work fine and all the controls register right. But my car is always steering right when I'm going straight for some reason. If I point my wheel straight it always turns about 30% to the right and I need to turn a lot to the left to actually go straight. Does anybody know why?

did you try to calibrate the wheel? does it do in different games too?

This never happened in other games. And what I don't understand is that if I go to the Logitech Profiler, the program that calibrates the wheel off-game, and I check for steering, it doens't say I'm steering right, the steering continues at 0%. It just happens in-game.

+1 I have the same issue with my Logitech G27, I rage quit and considering a refund. It doesn't do this in any other games.

Hi, I've got exactly the same issue. I use Logitech Momo Racing too. So far I haven't found any solution to this.

This problem occurs only in The Crew 2 ( Played PC 2, Dirt 4 recently and also tried The Crew 1 again with no issues at all) I've played TC 2 in Beta and it was running fine at that time.

I hope there will be some solution regarding this otherwise it's no buy for me

I also have MOMO Racing and the steering wheel does not work correctly

I also suffer from the same phenomenon.
The same phenomenon occurs with Logitech G27 (it is the name of Logicool G27 because it is the Japanese version).
Another game does not occur. It seems that there is something wrong with the software from this.

I'm trying to get a responde from the devs now. I will see what they can do about it

well, on the support forum they just said the steering wheel is not officially supported, so tough luck... :(

The same happens also with my G29 - keep wheel straight, but car slightly goes as to left a bit as to right a bit. G29 is in official support list. Was not play last 5 months, before all was OK, without this "alike drunk" trajectory.

My xbox controller was having the same issue. If I drove on land steering would pull to the right. But if I was in a boat it was fine. So I looked over the bindings file, the one for the PAD (controller), and found the issue:

<Action Name="RoadSteerRight" IsAnalog="1">
<Channel Type="COMBINED" Device="PAD" Name="RIGHT" />
</Action>

The issue was the Type="COMBINED". Removed that to have it now show:

<Action Name="RoadSteerRight" IsAnalog="1">
<Channel Device="PAD" Name="RIGHT" />
</Action>

Problem went away for my xbox controller.

This file was located at C:\Users\*LOGIN NAME*\Documents\The Crew 2 for me, and called Bindings_6cb1beb1.xml. Yours may have another name, but when you open you will see lots of things calling for a Device="PAD". Just edit with notepad.

I also have the MOMO and it is also pulling right, really bad. I'm going to mess around with its Type settings and see if I can get that fixed as well.

Too bad this game has so many bugs that are not getting fixed, when their previous game The Crew worked just fine with all my controllers and even trackir without issues. I have yet to get trackir working in The Crew 2 as I have spent most of my time trying to get the game playable, more so than even playing it. *sigh*

Hope this info helps someone.

update: This method also fixed my MOMO from always pulling right. I had to modify this:

<Action Name="RoadSteerRight" IsAnalog="1">
<Channel Type="COMBINED" Device="1343246514" Name="RIGHT" />
</Action>

and get rid of the Type="COMBINED"

BUT unlike the xbox controller, this one reset the config and put back in the Type when I went into the OPTIONS ingame. It did not change the one back for PAD (xbox controller), but it did for this. BUGGY GAME !!! So I am now changing it back, yet again, and then setting the file to READ ONLY. I hope this works, as it was great fun driving with my MOMO working properly.

Sure wish they would hire people that could code games properly. *sigh*
