No, its the same file as full game.

But beware as demo save files will carry over to the same uplay account, so whatever u did in demo(picking character which cant be changed) will be permanent, unless purchased and linked to another account.

The standard version I bought on uplay yesterday was 59 gb to download and today`s update is 28 gb.

Yes, 59 GB estimate time 15 Days 15 hours, although this is one of the few driving games that fits within my Processor limits.

I tried for a refund but couldn't get one so I have uninstalled it because it was just a massive empty boring world unfortunately.

Did you try crewing up with anyone? Driving across the US in game is a good deal more enjoyable when you are with other players. Same with PvE often and PvP is much more fun with a crew.
