crashes on launch

for several days it has been impossible to play the game, after the first loading, once you press continue, the game closes by itself without an error message, nothing, youtube is full of videos showing this problem, someone Does anyone have a solution or can a dev try to pass on the information to correct this problem? because playing motorfest doesn't interest me, TC2 is well above content level, a fix would be welcome

Did you read beyond the headlinе? Because this is what the original poster wrote in his post: once you press continue, the game closes by itself without an error message. Later people realized that you don't even need to press continue to crash. The game will crash in the main menu after 1 or 2 seconds: i have crash after "press any key".

So search another thread with your specific crash at start up and read comments there to find a solution that might help you. Because your issue is about something else.

It has been working for months, but now it doesn't even launch.
There is no new window open at any given time after I click Play, 2 seconds later, Steam's blue "stop" button goes back to green and "Play".
Tried from the Ubisfot Connect too, nothing.

I hope they didn't finally unplugged the game's life support with the new Ubisoft Connect update on purpose...

The game is working fine, I just launched it. The issue is on your side.
