they want to 'encourage' (read Force) people to race with each other there isnt any racing against Ai like TC2 outside of the playlists and thats with a car they give u not tuned u cant add parts, no easy medium hard choice, and the Ai's a brand type of magical unbelievable evil.
this is where they want to go and ..NO.. theyre not taking any feedback. they closed their own forums and have a message board now on discord.
AT BEST- a 20$ DLC
Like, the game is great otherwise, this is so far my only complaint with the game
Just hope they'll see sense with this
they eliminated that aspect on purpose dude-
just gonna be online pvp from now on..
more players invested and back into crew 2
then theyve added a a tire wear gauge on screen and u really lose grip quickly.
on a 5 lap summit race I went in for tire changes twice. one at end of second lap and one at the end of 4th lap for last lap. YES. tire wear is enormous theyve way over done it.
anyways all the roads/tracks in MF are always wet, if not pouring rain. anyways theye Never Dry. even in the sun... ALL roads are ALWAYS wet.
and all cars handling is more slippery in MF. I mean u think u got it in a drift or slide and it suddenly goes sideways to a stop u cannot save it with counter-steering or throttle or anything.
its frustrating. very different and worse than TC2.
MF2 will have oil and spark plug change service and fill up the water tank on your wipers...
its seamless a cut scene takes over as u enter the pit lane, theres quick cuts of a crew changing tires, then spits u out at good speed the other end. a few seconds is all.
pick up the base version when a sale comes along, bring over all ur TC2 cars.
its worth it just for the map its huge an gorgeous.
only pvp racing outside of the playlists an summit though..
Handling is different in TCM, took me a great while to adapt to it. Yes, it's punishing now to people who are used to hold gas in turn like TC2, but learning the limit of your grip, it's overall more fun than TC2 because, you need to brake now, and you need to turn properly. car steering response are better in TCM, they won't slowsteer like TC2, and now they don't have bodyroll too.
Assist settings are important, they usually are better with it on, specifically having sport traction control really helps with throttle, and countersteer assist is a must(even for WR tier player, yes), having those 2 does matter you want to grip. Also, if you playing Japanese playlist, the loaners are just that ass, far less grip than their class of vehicles, RX7 and Supra Ryujin is one of the most gripless car in ST2.
Oh I see how u can race Ai on playlists with one your cars.
join race, and in menu go over an click or A on the car it provides, an it goes to car select in your garage. choose one a your cars. u can race for example the Porsche playlist races with a BMW if u want..
whatever u choose from your cars, game will provide class an tune equals as competitors on That Playlist Track.
