This game will be impossible to 100% on Steam if you have played it on uplay launcher as trial or ubisoft+. Apparently I played it a bit with ubisoft+ back in 2020 and on first launch through steam, it loaded my old savegame (you cannot restart or change character neither btw) and steam did not load achievements that were already completed for that save. And since there is not option to reset saves or make new characters, it's impossible to get achievment for completing intro race.
And I'm guessing there is not gonna be a fix for this at this point, right?

Steam version is a separate version of the game. Its like buying the game on Xbox and try to get Achievements on PlayStation

Not exactly. All PC versions use same servers where save games are stored. Launching save games through steam for the first time, usually unlocks all achievements that save game has unlocked, unless it's bugged, like in this case.

It is not a bug, and no, both games are not the same. If you buy the game on Ubi you must buy a second copy to play it on steam or vice versa.. Exactly the same as the console versions only works on the console you bought it.

But you missing point of question, he dont ask about transfer achievements from console to pc, he played first on pc uplay, then bought steam version, both launcher share save so on steam he already completed prolog and can't unlock achievements without using 3rd party tool to unlocking them.
