Thanks! The issue was I have my display upscaled to 150% becaue I have a small laptop - it was not visible ;)

windows scaling does not apply in games... duh
you gotta move the menus and pay attention.

another option is open steam overlay and click on "exit game". this works for all games that allow steam overlay.

Wel I can say there are several games eg WOWS where it caused problems until I requested a bug fix. It shouldn't but it does...

in the same way that you quit every game... by pressing the windows button in order to tab out and then right clicking on the game icon at the bottom of the screen and pressing 'Close window'

I think you will find they meant B button on the joypad/controller
