why The crew 1 is better then the crew 2???

hello.I AM interet to buy the crew game... i ahve been told its the best Road trip game. so i am wonderign whitch one to get . i am been told then driving in crew 1 is bad, and but the crew 2 have reallly bad worse map. true or not true? whitch one is better?

p.s. in both games is possible to disable the UI ? and can i drive somewehre from new york to los angeles for exmaple just following road signs?

TC 1 imo is better only in police DLC and the entire map, looks more real, the rest is pfff

Yes you can. In doing so you might wind up with a route that you'll find more enjoyable to take compared to the route the in game GPS will give you. Just remember the world map isn't comparable to reality, but you can figure out a route on your own if you desire to do so.

Road trips and random cruising is the #1 reason I bought this game over two years ago and find myself closing in on 2000 hours of play.

i have crew 1.. neva played it picked it up on sale. cant even find it now, Ill have to give it a try, since Im now bored with 2.

Thats where teleport comes in handy. You can go to unlocked areas by a bit of cheesing

found it, didnt uninstall it, went to store page link above worked for me, but it cant be found searching crew or the crew in store search box.
funny though when I clicked play it said this will 'bind' this game to your ubisoft account. clicked ok, it started.

**Edit- I played about an hour of crew 1. I wanted to give it a chance even though the driving physics were from a hovercraft and all roads were black ice. HORR-ible.

so yur a criminal- theres one character- u- yur a 30somthin white guy with a beard and glasses. and yur a criminal, yur in yur brothers racer gang. then it jumps 5 years ahead yur in jail brothers dead, an some guy has taken over yur brothers car gang, the popo lets u out of jail to race yur way to the top of yur brothers old gang.
BUT no racing yet, and this cop chic zoe is constantly yakking in yur ear u have forced cutscenes an u have to do ♥♥♥♥ like race her, then go to yur garage, pick a starter car, then u do one race to get noticed, cos magically noone in detroit or the whole gang remembers u from yur BROTHERS gang. right.
so then zoe's back, another mandatory thing u go to pick up a package which u do by driving thru it in the middle of the street then cops are all over u then YOUR a blonde british female cop in some pos foreign crap car donno even what it is, slow ass pos thats what,... but it has magical car powers like emp an flashbangs and so does your car now, an get this- your chasing yurself. omg. so I chase myself twice then it switches back to your character and zoe's the cop who got u out of jail is yakking in my ear again something something an Im like...I quit. and did.

I guess u know Im not gonna recommend this game crew 1. probably kicked off steam by vote of the whole world, and its no wonder, they should given lashes with wet rope for even perpetrating this abomination of code an storyline upon mankind

I got it free from Ubisoft right before they released TC2.

I found the story missions difficult at first but then I just went with meta cars. Like when you have to race your handler, Zoe, you really want to have that nissan like hers to have the easiest shot at finishing the required race.

I was thinking about re-installing it as I never finished it. Never even came close. However, the graphics are better so free roam there might be a richer experience, at least visually.

But I just nabbed Projects Car 3 and Code Vein for US $20 from Humble Bundle along with some other games so if I'm going to install another racing game it will be Project Cars 3.
