unable to connect to the crew 2 servers PC
The game starts up and then I get a message: "unable to connect to the crew 2 servers PC". My network is working but it keeps giving this error. What should I do?
I am in South Africa

Go over the network troubleshooting found here:

https://www.ubisoft.com/en-gb/help/the-crew/connectivity-and-performance/article/troubleshooting-connectivity-issues-in-the-crew-pc/000064514

You might need to forward the ports the game uses. That page will tell you what you need to do. Good luck!

I actually wanted to point out that the article you provided is for the first crew game and here's the correct one.
https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/help/the-crew-2/connectivity-and-performance/article/troubleshooting-connectivity-issues-in-the-crew-2-pc/000063446

They are similar however there is an additional UDP port that is used by the 2nd game compared to the first one. I point this out in case if someone else has a similar problem and if in the future they decide to change the ports and update the article to direct people to the correct one.

Ah, thanks. I should have the page bookmarked by now but I don't, so I wind up digging through the official PC Support forum looking for it or try to google it up again.

Yep, what Zee said. Thanks for that :steamhappy:

@1NS4N1TY_CH3CK - Please follow the guide linked above[www.ubisoft.com], making sure to at least reset your hardware, and ask your ISP to help you make sure you've got an open NAT. Let us know if it works!

Hi guys, thank you very much for the help but I still cant connect. I am quite a casual gamer so new to the port forwarding. I managed to figure most of it out. However, it is still not working.

My router asks for the following inputs when forwarding ports:
-Enter Ip address (192.168.0.192 - I'm fine with this - got this from IPConfig)
-Enter Protocols (TCP - I'm fine with this - got this from the help link)
-Enter WAN Ports (13000, 14000, 14008, 3000, 3001, 3002, 3003 and 3004. - I'm fine with this - got this from the help link)
-Enter LAN Port (I am not sure What To Do Here? My options are:
-21 (FTP)
-23 (TELNET)
-25 (SMTP)
-53 (DNS)
-80 (HTTP)
-110 (pop3)
-1623 (PPTP)
-3389 (remote desktop)
-9000
-OR Should I input the same numbers as the WAN Ports?)

Really appreciate your help.
Thanks.

Just bumping this up in the order b/c I'm honestly not sure. I've been lucky that my existing modem and router settings worked 100% of the game from the first time I played it and every time since.

We're not able to offer specific guidance on how to forward ports. The reason for this is that all routers are different, and can be quite particular. Instead, I strongly recommend getting in touch with your ISP (or the manufacturer of your router, if you didn't get it from your ISP), to have their assistance in setting up your network in accordance with our article's instructions. They are in the best position to help with this.

Sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. All that said, if you do speak with your ISP about it, we'd love to hear how you get on!
