If you ever wonder Why? Same goes as PS5 games, they are made exclusive forever on playstation store, never PC port. Customer will automatically buy PS5 just for the game.
So that's other Steam competitor will not die, because they have family to feeds too.
some companies are getting financially damaged by doing the epic "1 year" exclusive thing...
waiting a year makes you think about how crappy they treat their steam customers...
steam customers are people too...
As a 3rd party perspective, both of them are people too, we have to treat them equally. Usually let them to have a fair competition to make a stand in the market.
Same goes to sibling argument, we cannot expect mommy & daddy only loves our-self more than sibling. Our parent only educate us to earn victory in a peaceful way.
Hope you can understand, everyone fight hard to earn money in the market, in the real world.
unlike you...
my focus is for the customer... and customers being treated badly .
not sure what customer focus has to do with hate....
Hate?
You can see how is the community respond to this topic. Mostly reveal more wrong-doings from ubisoft, which arouse hates.
* Their server issue
* Game performance issue
* Unresponsive tickets
* They lie to customer about deleting account
Mostly not related to the question in the discussion topic. But this is how community will answer.
bought it on xbox and played for a day then bought it on Pc the next day.
and when I played it on Pc, its same game, same cars, avatar, progress, monies, rewards etc. but different player names.
and its limited to 1920x1080 on Pc .. cos crossplay with consoles.
Funny how they often pull that marketing nonsense just because they can, they always word it in a way that gives no specifics, and makes it seem like they're doing just fine on PC without Steam, which is definitely not the case. Did it obtain the highest week sales for the franchise on console? Ubisoft Connect? without specifics, total unit sell through could mean any of those, either way, both could be true because not only has the gaming market grew considerably since The Crew 2 launched, but they also kept Motorfest off one of the biggest digital gaming storefronts in the world.
The fact that they gave no exact numbers tells me the game underperformed and this is their way of coping.
Not only does it harm the players who already bought the game elsewhere, but by the time it comes to Steam, the player base will be gone and the cycle will repeat itself, the few people who buy it here will likely know it's not a brand new game, and aren't going to stick around without an active player base, I don't know why Ubisoft keeps doing this, Riders Republic suffered the same fate.
