Crew 2 goes on sale at least once a month and it's ALWAYS heavily discounted, 80% for at least past year and the very last sale it is dropped to the same 90% off as Titanfall 2 so, my argument is still stands. https://steamdb.info/app/646910/

There's no reason to purchase basic edition, when ultimate edition sometimes can costs even less than basic edition (That's how I purchased Ultimate Edition of Division 2 with Epic Coupon and the total cost was lower than just buying basic edition, during the same sale).

On Steam we sadly don't have 10 dollars off coupons, but still if we are talking about a game that is at least 1+ years old, it would mean that sale price for Ultimate edition would be reasonable to consider picking it over basic edition.

so... since I dont want to use ubisoft forums, anyone else play the trial of the game? do the cars feel off to you? I cant really put my finger on it, but it feels like they have a mind of their own when I play and I have no idea what's the cause.

pretty sure you can buy base/gold later that you'll only be locked out on 2 fitted edition cars(which will be purchasable in 30days confirmed) and their vanities.

I think that Gold edition has extra Home location that you can't get with season pass alone. So, Gold actually gives you more for the same price than basic+season pass combo!

i got gold mainly for the 20% discount on buying cars and a few vehicles i think..
i could easily play this game with only 1 home.. but i do have 2 homes...
and the home are for changing your clothes and displaying vehicles

if you could change clothes in the menu or next to the parts box
i probably would not use the home/s at all..

Shame on Ubisoft. Pulls their crap a few years back, comes crawling back to Steam, and not even a few months later, stabs Steam in the back again. And not just with The Crew Motorfest, but all other upcoming games also.

there are very few games I know about before they are set to come out, e3 died so gg most of the AAA marketing on getting me aware of games, hell, I constantly forgot farcry 6 came out because it wasn't on steam. fun games to play if you don't play open world constantly, but not a game I go out of my way to keep up with.
