How do I purchase cars? Everything is so expensive

So far I am trying to find events I have not completed on the map, but still the currencies I get for them is very small for just 1 car.

Why is this game SOO grindy? I paid full price for it.

i use the activity screen it has everything
in order and makes finding all the events easy

if you want money to buy cars and less grind....
get good at New York in a good Hyper Car

but you gonna have to grind to get good parts for everything...

Or you can go a seriously boring but easy route like I do at times.

Do one of the short drag racing events over and over and over again while listening to music you like and taking regular breaks. LOL

(If you finish an event/race and pull up the leaderboard, the game won't log you out if you go afk for while).

nononoooo. find a race an car u can win with, a short Street Race (SR) then do it on normal-u have to., then hard, then ace, as u build up that car.
lots of those. note the reco perf status vs ur cars at top. even ace is not hard with less than reco., ai goes at first but drop back- just endure them for a few seconds.

the harley race in las vegas is probably biggest payout for a noob an they loan u a competitive bike. and yes thats a street race an gives a TON O PARTS u can use on any SR (street race) car.
thats what i did as a noob 1 week ago today, an now Icon level 76.
seems daunting at first but work at it- street races., an save up.

work some-grind- then play some. u got a boat too- those r pretty cool n easy mony.
got the season pass for 7.99 on sale last week- regular 39.99- gives ton o cars.
a Ferrari fxx touring class do those too - normal then hard then ace upgrading it its a winner. grind it back n forth-
street races-boat-touring cars (TC).

prob is kids buy a dirt bike cheap an screw off all day an that pays nothing- u cant buy game mony only CC credits so gotta grind some cash thats it.
