Can't seem to find any hidden wreck parts

Hello racers,

I can't seem to find any of the hidden car wreck parts which unlock the hidden cars. I have played a few hours now, and all I have found are loot boxes so far. Do the wreck parts cause the radar to go off too?

Is there something I am missing? Why am I so bad at finding them? Totally possible this is user error.

Did you mean to put this in the forums for the first game? The only thing in this game that makes the map go off is the random parts boxes.

It's silly, because the first thing that comes up in Google is this:

It must be someone made a mistake and copied the info from Crew 1.

Anyway, thank you for putting my mind at ease.
