Do you need to own the season pass to get the DeLorean?

I heard they were bringing the DeLorean into the game which made me interesting in buying this while it was on sale, but I need to know if the car will be available when its released without needing the season pass.

season pass only had 3 exclusive vehicles, and the pass kinda ended.

When they release the DeLorean you will have access to it day one. The only difference will be the pass holders will pay 20% less than those who do not possess it.

Hopefully, it will wind up being less, but if you want it day one, that's what I'd suggest having on hand unless you have some spare dollars, in which case you can just buy a bunch of CC from the store. However, I've seen posts about people not seeing their CC show up or show up days later. Not sure if that has been resolved, so if buying CC is something you are into doing, just check the status on that first.

I also always save up 2+ million for updates, better safe than sorry, fun jumping into the game with new cars immediately.

ETA: They already said no CC only vehicles again, if a special version vehicle is released there will be a package with vanities for CC or the car only for bucks.
