Forza Horizon 3 vs The Crew 2

really want a racing game. I don't care too much about the map size, but I like a good car selection/variety and customization. graphics are not a concern considering both games have decent graphics. I'm also hoping for an active online play. IDK about FH3 but TC2 does not seem to have as many players as I'd thought they'd have (seems like more or less 2000 playing according to community hub)

More arcade? Asetto Corsa , iRacing, project cars etc are much, much better when talk about racing. Forza 4-10 + will always be arcade.

AC and PC2 not even close to iracing it's in a league of it's own AC has great tyre Physic's over all handling Also Mod support!!! PC2 has a great selection of Car's Track's live track 3.0.
Between TC2 and FH3 for me i find FH3 alot more friendly (Community) wise i find TC2 just lacking alot in this field (not the community) but over all feel of beeing in a Open world with other's and racing against other Crew does nothing about this with in 2 or 3 click's in FH3 i'm with 12 guys racing doing event's gain money tell me why doesn't the crew do this?

I am waiting to buy this game after an update or so but I do have forza H3 and original Crew. I enjoy all racers leaning more towards arcade varieties. More importantly I also know the difference between the sub genres of racers/driving games and have an idea what I am looking for and expect prior to purchase. Forza has all the options to the point of simulation and going for a more serious and realistic look and feel usually without any plot other than win.

This series and NFS, burnout, flatout, etc. I feel take themselves not so serious and allow you to jump right in and out without much thought although still requires skill. Sometimes the mechanics are iffy. NFS Payback for instance does not ride as well as NFS 15 but has more enviornment and a more confusing story just too many plots. The big crusher with NFS payback to me is when you turbo your opponent does to. Not in the manner of it hitting it after I do, but it's as if my turbo button is wired to the opponents so that feels broken to me. The original Crew I'm sure all here who played can vouch for how poor the driving mechanics were but I knew what I was getting into and did not expect much in that part and I was looking more towards the story. I like the stories in arcade drivers they make it fun and add what the sim games do not.

Bottom line is read what type of driving game it is. Do you like arcade recers and realise your not getting a sim to hook up a steering wheel ala cheese (story) ? I like both lately I'm more into arcade but when I want precision and as serious as a video game can be for racing I'll load up forza 7. Just enjoy best of bothworlds. Maybe wait for a sale. Just enjoy whatever you go with that's what these are for even the sims ;)

The Horizon series is probably the best racing game series you can buy.
