Live Summit Rewards

I'm back to the game for the first time in a long time and I see cars which are unlocked by playing the Live Summit. Exactly how do you unlock these. And how do you get the different medal levels - Bronze, etc.?

The reward cars are generally platinum prizes. Only top 3000 players get platinum. If there's a car in the store that is from a previous Summit then you will probably have to wait many months before that particular Summit comes around again for your chance to win it.

I get it now; the bundle gives you the vehicles that allow you to participate in the vehicle-restricted events. I have 1.5 M right now so I could afford the bundle if I wanted to participate. Is it worth it?

The bronze level says people outside of the top 20,000 and 200,000 pts. So I need 200,000 points to get bronze? How much do those vehicle events usually pay out?

It's worth getting the bundle if you want to compete in all the events. You don't have to compete in all events though to get the prizes. You keep the cars in the bundle after the summit so it might be worth it to you if you want those vehicles.

The races payout the same as that race on normal difficulty. You can replay it as many times as you want to get a better time.

I suggest racing in the Summit with the eligible vehicles you have and get a feel for it. You don't have to pay to enter and you still win the prize money for the races so there's nothing to lose.

I assume you need to rank all 9 events to win Bronze? I've ranked all of them but the Indian race but I'm a good 25 seconds behind every time with my 202 ranked bike.

Nope. You only need to compete in one event to get the bronze. Bronze is the equivalent of a participation trophy.

Thanks; I guess I'm done for now, then. I'm certainly not going to get Silver, even if I beat the Indian race. Still, 300,000 followers isn't nothing.

You're welcome. When you're low ranked 300,000 is an awesome boost.
I'm not sure if you read this but if you are in a crew and you don't own the vehicle needed for a summit race you can still do the race as long as the captain of the crew owns the vehicle.

Yeah, I saw that about crews. I'm really not a multiplayer guy so I've never played in a crew. As for the rest, I'm only Icon 9 so 300 grand is still a big boost for me. Followers is the main thing I wanted out of this.

How or when do you get summit rewards?

You get them the same way you enter the summit races. When a new summit starts enter it and before you can race you collect your reward. You have to hold down 'enter' button (keyboard) for a few seconds.

I actually just realized this - I was at the pier and just happened to notice the big mailbox. Exactly what parts get sent there?
