( posting this quick quide from the current World Record holder in AB, since some people think or thought something "fishy" was going on)

Well AB is in "everyone's" most hated disciplines, so they dont play it at all or not trying to get high scores. i hated it too when i started, but when i saw what is the most optimal way to score points i saw a chance to get high scores even go for WR.
Being nor a stream nor a youtuber i havent any way to show you what i am doing but i can describe.

Firstly there is a very nice youtube video made by the previous WR holder that explains the principle that we use to go that high --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkt5_WeTQmA <-- once you combine all these things together and practice a lot you can go extremely high on points, and then i have some personal tips to help you maximise your perfomance !

When i got my 1st AB WR i saw that it was so "easy" so i got every AB wr in the following week, its the same principle, and im not any special of a plane-skillful-driver, im just an average pilot that has practiced it a lot and knows what move pays off more points :wink: Imagine if a pro player decides to do AB, he will make my scores appear tiny. Also remember when you play Ab event with another player and hes flying within 100m radius of yours you get formation points, that gets you 3,000 extra points to your score at the end (if he manages to stay within 100m in the whole duration). Personally if i do a decent solo run i can reach 22,000+ points, but if you have the formation points all the way u can extend it by 2,500-3000 points further ! :slight_smile: i hope i explained it enough :p


Basically: do snaps extremely fast, use magnificent and extreme mode affixes only, do the objective chekclist as fast as possible by combining tasks, skip those checklists that have hard things that require time (close call, inverted low alt, ...) learn every checklist by heart so u start doing the task even before it starts (just before freestyle period ends) to earn time, fly in clear air, dodge clouds so u can see the horizon when u perform fast snaps, loops have a small amount of vertical and nosedive points already in it so u can leave the vertical task incomplete at 220/250 and it will fully complete itself when u do a loop in the same checklist (combination power), always choose valleys or sea level to perform tricks, dodge mountains towns trees, even if you want to skip a playlist in these splits of second that u press skip you can squeeze some tasks that the checklist has to get the extra points, many little things here and there that help you increase your score, you learn them as you play

That's funny because last week I got a few number 3 world records using the same trick. Up until that point I avoided even attempting aerobatic races on hard. I'm not sure if you explained this but it's easier to do in extreme mode.

Look into the controller settings and try turning down Steering Dead Zone.

So only increase magnificent and extreme mode? Why not increase skills? Does that not contribute to your score?
Oh and I saw the plane you use. I cannot use that thing. It's unresponsive at times and wont let me perform a loop without the plane rolling just before the end.

I hate that with the NC set with the magnificent or whatever and other affixes that I won in some Summit in AB planes means that if I use Extreme Mode and either dive or climb that it goes way beyond what a tap in either direction meant.

When it comes to AB moves I actually do better in AR plane.

You asked some amazing questions there. Let me tell what I found in my research. No, skills do not affect your score. So you know how you spent 15 hours and a million dollars to upgrade your plane?
