I do a LOT of just driving/flying/boating around, and a few of the parts have bonuses to find Live Rewards more frequent, so I end up with a crap-ton of surplus parts, so I tend to scarp quite a lot.
Jet Boat can NOT use Power Boat parts.
Same goes for all vehicles.
Acrobat Plane can NOT use Race Plane parts even if they are the same name plane.
You can check the 2 letter class:
PB=Power Boat
RR=Rally Raid
RP=Race Plane
I can't remember what the 2 letter classes are, but as long as the 2 vehicles are the same class/category, they can share parts.
Of course, only parts not currently equipped can be installed on another vehicle.
It's funny to me how you can use the same parts on cars and motorcycles in the same class. At first I thought, this is going to be way too easy to upgrade everything, but when you get max level parts installed, you often still find lower level parts. It can get difficult to find epic parts with good bonuses that are max perf level so it works out.
It is a little strange to be able to instantly upgrade a car with almost max level parts but the alternative would be a very slow grind so it works out.
But if you have multiple cars of the same class, you can just put the parts on the others
