Also put points in Hothead. It increases your score the faster you drive.

You're welcome. And watch out, even small pavement lights will make your multiplier stop.

i need help with this. every game with drifting I do fine. except this one. no matter what I do it ends up crashing into something or over/understeering too much. what am i missing

Also shouldn't drift events be in the freestyle category?

As you level up more options will unlock for you to further tune your ride. Speed is not the most crucial factor but rather smooth and chained drifts.

yea... me kinda too... drifting in real life is alot easier..
the driving in this game to change to direction is weird .. not like irl

Look for parts with slippery perk, this will increase your multiplyer. Also invest some level points in the slippery park too. After you maxed out slippery, start maxing out skilled perk. increases point gain in score based activities. When drifting hold the drift as long as possible, do NOT touch anything. Anything as simple as a street light or a garbage bin will break the streak and the drift. try not to go too far sideways or else you will loose control or slow down.

Personaly , i find that they should remove those drift races. It is totaly not possible to do any of the races.

Looking for slippery and hothead. Try to use recalibrate the part as slippery and hot head affixes only. It's very easy to beat a target score.

its okay it doesnt work. i keep slipping and bumping into stuff, it is really annoying.

I'm the same. I cannot manage to win any drift events.

I think I have two of them completed at some difficulty level or another but that was only because I was part of a crew and someone in the crew won the event.

I loathe drift events. They annoy me beyond all belief.

Drift events even on ACE can be won with a car far below the recommended specs. Maybe try a different camera perspective, or put level points in the drift-related categories.

This is what happens, ( and anything that i change in the game has no positive effect so far) . I drive the car over the coarse. I steer it left or right to make it slip and usually after that, i hit one of those yellow or orange road blocks. If the goal was to bump from left to right, into a road block. I would have had a pretty high score.

This is what I tried:
-I tried to put the score on slip or drift related categories, that had no effect for me.
-I tried different cars, The highest score i always get when i use the Ford GT. Other cars always score lower. That nissan car with a higher score does surprisingly worse then the Ford car.
-I tried that camera view thingy , that didn't make me hit less road blocks.
-I tried to go slow and fast. kinda had no effect except that the car wont slip when you go very slow.

So basically these cars are uncontrollable for me. Since trying this over and over again is very annoying and boring for me. I will just stop trying these drift events. I play the game to have fun and not to get annoyed and bored.
