What do you think about Ai Catch up?

Not as much rubberbanding as in Crew1 and now you can get a decent distance if your car is tuned enough, but they still drive way too perfect, like no crashes and such so yea AI still can suck in many races and make you feel like AI is cheating

I really like the AI in this one. I never felt it was cheating, and with the catching up the races are not boring when you get way ahead of the pack. One mistake and you have to get to the top again, but even near the end of a race I never felt it's pointless to continue. I saw the AI make mistakes sometimes like running into a wall taking a corner too tight, running into traffic on the road if there is one, etc... Also they are not as aggressive as in other games I played, they won't 100% ram in you if you stop in the middle of the road and most of the time you can pass them without problems even on narrow roads.

This is for the normal mode, didn' play that much on hard yet.

Ai is horrible! It,s drives like a train and keep ramming you out of the way all the time. They litary just don,t see you. It seems to me that they adjust their speed to you during the race. When you are ahead they have superpowers , but when you are on 2th or lower place they drive slower as well i notice. But driving in front of them, then they just keep ramming you out of the way instead of looking for holes to bypass you. So i think it,s best to stay 2th or lower place when racing, to have somewhat a descent race. Ai is just a ramming train behind you.

Acceleration of AI cars is horrible. Duration of AI Audi TT from 0 to 100 kmh is shorter than my F40...

It would be good if we had an ai adjustable system like project cars so that anyone can select for himself. But the main irritation i find is that the ai ram you instead of trying to bypass you. Mostly around corners, but strait roads they will bypass normally most of the time. The ai in it,s current state is a is somewhat a gamebraker for me, since the rest of the game is so good.

Personally hate it!! If I crash and fall behind due to the AI ramming me into a wall... wheres my rubber banding eh?
Also whats with the computers being able to catch up in the corners especially on the exotic long races?! They corner WAY WAY better than what any of my cars can. Full lock on cornering even with all the stabilty, esp, traction turned off, slows the car down...
I get it that its an arcade game, but im just a tad dissapointed in it. Already started to not enjoy it.

yea the AI that don't obey the laws of physics are fine, I love the hard harley race going literally as fast as the bike will go and still getting passed like I am nailed to the ground. very fun

Agree man its way too unrealistic that the AI can catch up that fast, i mean even in the old NFS games from the 90s. The Ai had more mistakes and couldent catch up too you that fast, but i think the NOS is the biggest problem. It seems like the AI have unlimited NOs, and they never doo mistakes. That is one of the reason why i have stopped played the game right now:\

You can also break the AI, managed to do it on the ultimate offroad race, the guy just kept driving in a circle after I pushed him out of his path :)

Lol I hate that race but the loot is good so is the pay
