Known issues with The Crew 2

1.) Force feedback problems with most wheels (Logitech, Fanatec, and Thrustmaster.) The open beta had these problems, and have not been fixed during beta, nor in between the beta ending and the launch date. Very few people have any force feedback at all. For some, the most success is, "but it was a fake centering spring that centered the wheel even when stationary."

2.) Game crashes during some loading/opening seqences. Sometimes you may just get stuck and the LIVE icon on the bottom right just keeps going. May get choppy sometimes too.

3.) Keys anyone? LOL, Ubisoft says this was fixed, but they at least lost a few thousand bucks judging from the initial reviews.

4.) Unable to retreive loot from HQ if you don't pick it up right away after a race.

5. Instant crashes on start-up (PCScalability.xml file need edition).

6. Any changes in graphical settings ends with game crash.

7. Random game crashes.

8. Low performance on i7 4770K (OC 4.2GHz) and GTX 960 4GB (medium graphical settings, with snow 23 FPS).

No problem here, never had a crrash. I7 3770K 3.8mhz turbo boost 16mb ram Gtx1080 . All Ultra in game with 60fps. No stutters, no crashes :-) Smoot as silk so to speak.

Garage not saving your car arrangement

TXAA being forced on by default, causing everything to look blurry and slightly pixelated when moving unless the game is run at 3840x2160

Overuse of the rubberbanding mechanic

The only problem I have is the random crashes. The game runs perfect from high/medium stable 45-60fps, but I get random crashes at no specific times. So to speak, I'll be 1hour into the game, half way through a race and bam! Game crashes for no specific reason, it's really annoying and I cant seem to find any fixes. :(

No real crazy about the rubberbanding to tell you the truth. Its mostly a cheat for the AI. What it does however is force you to drive perfectly since no matter how you drive the AI cars will be right behind you.

Which is really hard for the long races.

Even on normal difficulty

Thank you to everyone for sharing your feedback. I will be sure to get this to the team so they can see all the concerns that are being addressed here.

For the users experiencing the forced feedback issue in specific, is it giving you any type of error codes?

@UbiBoat I haven't received any error codes, my game would just freeze and it forces me to restart my pc as I cannot alt tab or use task manager. Only time I have received an error code was for the rims customization but I know it's being looked into after looking at the forums.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The team is working very hard to get this issue resolved and I'm just trying to get as much information for them as I can!

@UbiBoat No worries man, I know ubisoft is an amazing company and do their best, they have to be my favorite gaming company despite some mistakes, I'm sure they're and you are doing your best, thanks for replying and good luck on fixing these bugs/glitches, etc. <3
