As shared above, progress will not be transferring from the Open Beta to the full release of The Crew 2.

Looks like my open beta of Crew 2has been removed from STEAM library for start of the final versions release dates.

Thank you developers for letting me test my controllers with the Beta. At least I know I can control all the vehicles in Crew 2 with my Wheel controller.

What wheel are you using?
dthayer0971 Jun 25, 2018 @ 11:43am
I am using the Thrustmaster TMX wheel controller with Crew 2 beta. Crew 2 seemed to recognize the TMX right away. To go up and down with the airplane it uses the small D-Pad on the wheel. Other than that, every other type of vehicle is like driving the car -- such as the boat and bike.

i didnt get to envolved with the beta cause I knew it was to last for a few days. I had a thumbs up review ot the beta, but that has been removed also, I think.

take care.

Nope..

by the way you can remap what pitches planes up and down by changing what you have set for the controls for "trimming" up and down. I hate where the dpad is on my Thrustmaster T150. Just know that changing your trimming up and down "buttons" will also change it for actual trimming up and down while driving a boat.

They dropped the ball a little bit not having completely separate controls remappable for each individual vehicle type. But hopefully they'll add that in someday as many people want it.

I agree with you xainin on separate controls. Using the main wheel & D-Pad on my TMX wheel made it hard to do good sharp turns with the airplane. Just turning left or right with the main wheel makes the plane go down, so I had to use the D-Pad Y axis to keep altitude and that can be frustrating at times trying to reach the D-Pad with the wheel turned. Doing gradual turns with the plane is not bad doing above with a wheel controller. And I was just flying with the slower first plane we get.

Too late now, but I didnt think try to program both the X and Y axis of the D-Pad for the plane. So maybe I can control the plane with just the D-Pad rather than using the main wheel along with the Pad. Is this a possible solution? I dont know if this would work with the plane.

I refuse to use a gamepad for driving a car.
