Thanks for taking the time to share this feedback here. I have seen this feedback reported a few times now and have been sure to let the team know about this.
When I 1st played the cew 1 I thought the new waypointer bar above the road was amazing & revolutionary.
I've always hated having to stare at a mini map to know my route in open world driving/racing games.
When you're driving down a road at 200+ MPH trying to dodge traffic, the last thing you want to be doing is taking your eyes off the road to check your route on the mini map.
So for that not to be a part of the Crew 2 really disappointed me,
In all my revirews I gave in the surveys for alpha/beta I did mention this, but just thought ahhhh well It's only alpha/beta I'm sure it'll be in full game launch.
No one drives looking at the gps every 10 seconds. Why force us to do so. Most racing games out there moved on from the minimap model to the road overlay. You had quite an interesting take on it on the first game. Don't stay a step back. You're already doing that on a lot of other areas in this game.
yea i definitly feel their lacking in a few areas like the obvious waypoint mini map issue but i also enjoyed driving around on the first one looking for landmarks i wish they had brought that back it would give you more reason to travel to a destination rather than fast travel
It's still a minimap waypoint system.
Thanks for trying to help though.
