Option to Turn Off Damage and Mud Visuals
Can we get options to toggle off vehicle damage and mud/snow visuals? I prefer the cars in pristine condition (it's like an OCD-kinda thing), and the snow looks more like white paint splatter. :featherduster:

Glad I'm not the only person who thinks the snow splatter looks that way. It's even more annoying when you get it while using a motorcycle or dirt bike.
To me the snow splatter on the back of my rides looks more like a bunch of birds took a dump on it as it looks like bird crap and not snow.

when u finish an offroad snow only race, then returns to freedrive, it gets worse. the white poop turns into real poop.

Yeah, I don't even know what kind of snow sticks to running cars without melting in the first place. The snow I see every winter here in the US midwest sure doesn't do that while driving down the roadway. Only time you should see snow on a car is after it builds up overnight if you leave it outside. What does end up all over the car when winter driving, though, is the dust and salt kicked up from the road.

Ugh! All that salt!!!

Used to live in the north east of the US and my vehicles would get that thin layer of salt on them. So bad for exposed metal like the under carriage.

Now I live in the NW of the US and don't own any vehicles aside from my bicycle so it's not an issue.

Granted, here in Portland, OR we pretty much don't use salt within the city save in a few spots if it's really bad with ice. Not to mention that snow and ice is not exactly a common occurrence in Winter.

i'm ok with mud and snow splatters but i would love to turn off the damage. those cars are to beautiful to see them damaged :D

Agreed. What's strange with damage is that if you are in a vehicle that is damaged and switch to another one, the same level of damage is visible on that vehicle too until the timer ends and it goes back to pristine.

A no damage option would be very nice to have.

Especially after the last big update. The video editor don't work as it should be.
The damage slider is pretty useless.
Often times you can only remove the scratches on the car body.
The dents are still there.

Only the photo mode works just fine.

It looks painted on to me.

Don't get me wrong though about the snow on the landscape. That's awesome. I think the world looks gorgeous in the snow, just like IRL.

It looked better before the weather "upgrade". (The snow on cars and not quite as "white-out" in the game and map.)

The snow is perfect just need it about once per day. Plus when it snows it goes all over the place grass roads buildings.

Precisely.

for me, the cracked windshield looks awful, and its even poorly done, if you notice when the glass is cracked the textures from inside the car and driver are cracked as well... instead of adding a shadowy effect of a crack, they simply added the crack on the inside as well
