How to purchase the gold edition if i already own the standard ?

hey, i've a problem. the more i play the game the more i begin to love it. its absolutely incredible. though i've purchased the standard edition yesterday and now i regret it. i would like to purchase the gold edition but as long as i own the standard edition i can't purchase the gold edition..

is it somehow possible to refund the game (with 10.2 hours played) to purchase the gold edition ? this would be great

for double the price ? rofl. never :( the gold edition costs 9€ more than the standard and the season pass costs 19,99€ more. thats more than double the price :(

If you played less than 2 hours i think you could have refund it and bought it again, but since you have played 10 hours i doubt that would work. But you haven't lost much not purchasing it, only the season pass, the other stuff that comes in the gold edition is just a car pack and some clothing items that you can buy ingame with bucks. Good luck refunding it and buying the gold edition, but if you can't, know you haven't lost much.

hm well. the home location is quite nice to have on the other end of the map.

the two outfits are exclusive ain't they ? i would like to change my horrible cap on my horrible char to the other hat from the season pass outfit and those 25 vehicles would be nice to have aswell :D i mean buying them would take way too long. i noticed that i would have to play for maybe 50 hours extra only to buy those vehicles (you get those free with the season pass right ?)

I think the LA HQ and the vehicles comes with the season pass too.
Also the vehicles are pretty sh*t really. I wish i could sell some of them, they're pretty worthless.
(i don't know if you can change the cap tho, i haven't seen the option to change it as far as i know. But you can buy a helmet and toggle to always wear it, that works too)

edit: well its ok, the game is only on sale for another 2 hours so this will most likely not work anyway. i'll just play it without the season apss then :(

Don't bother buying the season pass, you just get the new cars for free a week before it releases to the public. And the HQ in LA is just the same as the Miami HQ. Only buy the season pass if its a REAAAAALY great deal, like -70% and you have some money to throw at it.

yeah i didn't purchase the season pass now.. well i'll manage without it. just thought that maybe the 25 free cars would make it easier to play the game without grinding that much, especially in the beginning.

but its ok, i'm at around 800k money now after 10 hours of play (i know thats not much, but i freeroamed mostly. the world is so beautiful and incredibly well designed)

just want a few cars, like 2-3 per discipline (with cars i mean bikes boats planes too :P)

maybe after 50 hours i'll have them xD

You'll get them pretty quickly, when i started playing I just focused on completing all races on all disciplines. When i saw i had a lot of money to buy stuff.
Then i focused on acing all the races and earned more than before.
Just have fun racing, you'll unlock vehicles pretty fast and you won't even notice.

thanks :D i hope you are right. form the looks of it it seems to be hard to unlock those vehicles because most cost like 300-500k and now after 12 hours i'm at 900k only :( so purchase two vehicles and i'm broke again (nearly)
