Wolf in the snow photo op.

How comes I can never find a wolf in the snow anywhere? It's always bears, foxes, deer, buffalo etc. Never no wolves. Like WTH!!

LOL You know, I've seen them a few times, in the snow, at night, but I'm in the middle of something so I have yet to get that photo op done! So frustrating!

It snows everywhere in the game. It will be a nice sunny day then I go to the map for a few and come back to rain or snow. Ubisoft needs to fix the weather system.

Find a wolf anywhere, then add snow through the photo mode, took me ages to know this worked, but yeah.

If you tag the photo op to your HUD, it'll notify you with a sound if one of the conditions gets met, i.e. a wolf being nearby. It really helped me with finding the wildlife, as well as landmarks I'm unfamiliar with.
