Granted, not many people actually use it even in such cases.
I have made a couple friend who been having regular gameplay season together
( they practically cleared the whole game for me since clearing hardest difficulty on each mission is too hard and Time consuming for me )
and never thought I could actually text them when one of them typed “wait a min “ after 2 months lol
For the past 6 months I thought spamming that emoji is the only way to communicate with each other and I was trying to figure out if there’s a way to text people on that UBI connect thing OMG
LOL Well now you know.
Just hit that F3 key and use whichever chat tab is the one you want.
I think to chat to a specific person it's /w <UbiConnectUserName>
You can hit tab though after a letter or two of the name you want.
/r is to reply to a whisper. If more than one you can tab after the: /r
Otherwise, emotes aren't really a bad way to communicate in general in a lobby. Most of them are universal terms for very basic communication or general gamer stuff like "GG."
Though I honestly wish IVT/UBI would get rid of the, "I'm In Love!" emote.
At least once a month, at the very least, I have someone start spamming that at me. It's seriously annoying and worse when it's someone in the same PvP lobby as you.
And, no, I should not have to leave a lobby if I'm bothered; there should not be such an easy way to harass another player built into the game.
