Global Achievements

Achievement Guide Chapter 4
With the help from "hcbsmits" and "THE TENTH" we were able to figure out all of the achievements!


  • Episode Four is in the books!
    Unmissable, Story Related - Finish Chapter 4

  • Sea air
    Make sure to save before getting this achievement and loading that save after getting it. See "A cat’s life" achievement for the reason why.

    Use humidifier in most (all?) rooms that you can use it.

  • Call the manager!
    After you've gotten the "List" use the Computer Terminal in the Lab to order the wrong part "Server node mountable capacity_" by entering the code: "C64-AA-ZX32-XS"

  • Protocol X
    After you unlock the Nav Chip (towards the end of the game, not at the beginning), and before you take the Nav Chip out. Use the Slide-Chip on the Nav Chip and use the Computer Terminal to read about Protocol 10

  • Seriously. I’m in a vacuum!
    Once you've added the speaker to the EMF Detector just use it around 10 times (while you're still in a vacuum).

  • One more time!
    In the room with the Airlock. Open all three lockers, close all of them and re-open all three


Found by hcbsmits:

  • A precious keepsake
    Use Plasma Cutter on Robot in the bedroom

  • Turn around!
    Use Rubber Ducky on Barton

  • Stellar dreams
    Use (Hand Icon) "The Vastness of Space" after you launch the Shuttle and climb a ladder

  • Snack time
    Eat the "Tin of Cookies" (Use Hand Icon on it)

  • A cat’s life
    Sleep and sit as the cat at all possible places (there are 4 of them) [confirmed by the creator].

    Currently bugged: if you used the Humidifier to get the "Sea Air" achievement, you won't be able to get this one. Look at solution below from the very helpful developer ^^ Best to load an earlier save game after getting the "Sea Air" achievement.


Found by THE TENTH:

  • The second ball
    Find & use both balls to win the ball throwing competition in the dream/flashback sequence

In short - "Sea air" achievement blocks "A cat's life" achievement.
To get achievement you can or start Episode 4 from beginning (and use Humidifier only for solving main problem) or use this cheat:
--
1. Load game at beginning of cat part (or later if you don't used all cat places yet);
2. Press Pause;
3. Disable Music and Hints in options;
4. Return from Options to main pause screen;
5. Press TAB. Command line will appear;
6. Insert there following text (Ctrl+v will work):
SETGLOBAL(S1E4_HUM_COUNTER=3)
7. Press "Continue" (you will return to game);
8. Press TAB (cheat will be implemented, command line will disappear).

Then try usual cat things (rock, bench, bush, grass).

It will work for anyone else, who have similar problem with "A cat's life". Note: it won't work if you in your save already perform all cat actions (rock, bench, bush, grass) - then you need to find earlier save (if you don't have it and don't want to complete game again - write me and i will fix save for you).

The second ball is story related and you get it when you use both the balls to win in the dream/flashback sequence.

There are two Dirt areas. Once you've found the right one, you just have to be really fast with the second ball.

Episode 4 done. Now for the missing 6 achievements.
Episode 4 is in the books is the achievement for finishing it.

a cat's life: When playing as the cat I interacted with the bushes, interacted with the bushes again ( you go to sleep), went to next screen, sat on the rock for a bit, slept in grass, meow'd at the second rock, went back to first screen and sat on bench. At that moment the achievement popped.
And finally got that second ball achievement also.

Now only that second ball achievement to get. That's a tough one. When I throw the first ball sam says something (which you have to click away) and before I can use hand icon on second ball the first one has stopped.

I think you're overthinking it, use the first ball on the lower dirt, doesn't matter if the ball stops, this is normal, just click the second ball on the first one as soon as you can. As long as there's still text just click the ball on it. I'm not sure how you can finish the game without doing this actually?
