Awesome. Now how about a sequel?

This is one of my favorite games. Unless the port is bad, I plan to pick this up at some point. I have played the 360 version twice now. If it wasn't such a long game, I would play it more often. A truly unique game with very unique combat and an interesting world to explore. Only 3 characters? A nice change of pace is more like it. Too often jRPGs throw a dozen or so characters at you and then only allow you to use 4 or so. With 3 characters, you really have to optimize your team loadout and tactics to win each battle. Maybe if this does well we can expect a sequel. I would love that.

A sequel meaning a similar game with similar gameplay, I'd love it. A direct sequel, I don't know, it's a story quite self contained, but if they got any idea I'd love to see what they had in mind.

Well you can play the game on NG+, you get through the game much faster that way and when the PC version ist out you can cheat to get unlimited money/health and stuff and maybe someone is going to make and easy mode mod.

As for the sequal, how about adding different weapon types, like rocket launchers and sniper rifles that do AoE and high single target(limb) damage

Yeah, a sequel would be nice. The world/setting is interesting and the characters are great.

Can someone spoil me and tell me what happens when you complete the whole world map, do you get something? I always wanted to complete it, but somehow I've never done it :D

To be honest I had to look it up, even though I 100%ed the game on 360 and PS3, but it seems all you get is a trophy/achievement

I believed all the time that the games tells you at some point that you would unlock something special. But it could also be the case that my memories are just wrong

I just found that you do in fact unlock some costumes, when you clear all the hexes. It is the naked clothing costumes.

Ah thank you! The mystery is finally solved. I looked it up myself, but never found something. Well I had expected that you would unlock a cool weapon but not these costumes :D

Taking this into consideration, a spiritual successor a la Bravely Default (was supposed to be a sequel to FF: The 4 Heroes of Light, but it morphed into a spiritual successor during development) would be quite fitting, perhaps. Or maybe even a spin-off of sorts, in the way that Xenoblade Chronicles X isn't a continuation of the first game.

To me, it brought something fresh and new in contrast to our typical jrpgs where you are the chosen one with a sword fighting the lord of darkness :p

Ok not all rpgs are like that, but come on, this game is pretty cool! You can do 10 backflips mid air while shooting enemies in the most fashionable way XD

Exactly. It took me half of my first playthrough to realize I could jump and shoot at the same time. I love the combat in this game.
