the game used to run great, no problems. recently started lagging. my cpu usage is 30% and my memory is 40% and my gpu is 35% so it isn't lack of hardware

Have you make any kind of change in the game resolution or have you changed your gpu options?

i've been messing with the settings since having issues. The issue was lag but now it's resolution. I have a 4k screen but it's stuck in 1080p regardless of window or borderless window.

mine started to lag 2 hours before yours did. i've also been messing with the setting after the lagging started to adjust but nothing seems to work.

The game has not updated so the issue has come from your setting. Have you changed something in your setup? Have your gpu software being updated?

I added a second monitor and it does try to fill both screens when trying to change resolution in the window mode. also i updated my gpu drivers to attempt a fix

Try to check if your gpu software like Nvidia Xperience or any other from the company of your gpu is adding option to your videogames performances

as a courtesy followup, both issues seem to have resolved themselves overnight and were fine during play today... chalk it up to angry gnomes in my pc perhaps
