Your advice is fine for a survival map but for a campaign it just doen't cut it, especially because the campaign maps are fixed. Zero variance. Fail the last ten percent of a map? Well lucky you, you get to do the first 90 percent all over again in the same way, adjust a little bit for that last ten percent, woops, wasn't enough, then do the map aaaaaaall over again, with the first part being the exact same AGAIN. Games are meant to be fun, not torture, right?
Anywho, this game suffers from a few such things, being able to replay the first couple missions and build up some upgrade points would also be a nice feature.
It definitely doesn't have wide market appeal.
Well the game isn't being updated anymore.
So, what's your point? This is the game's end state. If you don't like it how it is, it ain't changing no matter how much you whine.
But I never got into the campaign. But the other mode doesn't have saves either, so going there won't help you.
I've lost a lot of games. A LOT of games. I lose about 70% of my games. But it's still fun, because every game is different.
I gave up on the Campaign at the Highlands because I couldn't stand the thought of having to replay it if I lost. So I didn't even try.
