cant launch the game: origin launcher problems (compatibility)

can you check that your game can launch without problems from the EA store app?
I dont get any direct errors in the ZXLog.txt file. System win10 (or 11), rtx 3080, amd 5800x. I also forced the display device to be number 0 and 4K resolution. Removing second display does not affect anything. could not find any error/crash reporting tools on your website. Tried to install the extra/custom redist packages from the TAB installation subfolder. Fro the user AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\Logs, file IGOProxy_TheyAre_Billions, says some error, dont know if that matters.

IGOProxy.exe is EA software for their app launching. Check your antivirus or firewall to allow that .exe or delete it from the blacklist.

I dont have anything other than default win10 defender/firewall on, but with strict app/browser control turned on. running the game as administrator did not help btw. I dont have even a microsoft account logged in. Onedrive is turned off etc. Bitlocker is not running. Firewall is set up to allow the game app through.

this happens also on my second computer with win11 and rtx 3060. at some point only the other computer could run the game, but now neither can.

edit: I mean the app runs, shows the taskbar program icon, but closes prematurely.

clean win10 and everything install. if there is an issue of cloud saves conflict then idk. also reinstall on the second computer win11 . not working. reinstall on both computers failed to change the not working condition.

idk if the issue is with the 5000 series AMD processor, or the NVIDIA GPU, which both the computers have.

I don't think there is any specific issue with AMD processor or Nvidia gpus... I think the issue is simpler that we think we we have not found it out yet... Have you tried to launch the game as administrator?

yes I did. did not make any difference. the game output log does not tell what happens. is there a debug verbose launch mode argument to the .exe?

no, did not affect anything. also tried turning off windows app running protections, no difference when running.

i dont know if this matters, but my router firewall detected this, while trying to run ea app or the game:

still no. I can play other EA store games, so its not directly about the store itself, but something with the game and possibly EA related things.
