I was wondering, before i try it, does placing the warehouse within range of the commnand center make the command center (city hall if you will) give more gold?

I've done three maps and never thought of this before now. Trying to unlock 4th map.

no, it increases the production of the others and also gives more storage space.

Talking about Warehouses: Is it possible to improve several times a building by warehouses?

For example:
Oil Platform (10 Oil) + 1 Warehouse = 12 Oil
Question:
Oil Platform (10 Oil) + 2 Warehouses = 14 Oil ?

I never tried it.

Thanks for the replies. Never seems that there is enough room anyway to put a warehouse by the center. I normally start stacking houses around it as soon as the game starts.

I put the warehouses by my production. Hardly ever close to my housing that is for the banks and market

To go a little more in-depth and clarify more concisely, it increases the production of buildings that harvest resources, not ones that generate anything, so things like energy and gold "generators" (command centers and houses) won't be affected on that front while others will, including food output and even gold if it's a quarry harvesting it from the ground.
