HELP! - 100h Campaign Accidentally Deleted

So... I have played the campaign for more than 100h, I was having a lot of fun, close to completing it, and I have accidentally deleted it.
I logged in late at night, was about to play for a couple hours, but I was sleepy and clicked on delete instead. I am now sad, I don't want to play 100h again just to get to the same point. Is there a way to recover the file? I am desperate. Thank you all.

P.S.: Yes, I know I should have backups, it just never occurred to me that I could be so stupid...

You might have local backup files that the game saves every 20 minutes. Open Run (Windows+R) & look here:

%USERPROFILE%/Documents\My Games\They Are Billions\Saves

You might have a couple files called _Backup.zxcheck & _Backup.zxsav that both begin with the name of your Campaign save. If you're using Steam Cloud Save (game Properties), then you may be able to use those local backup files by turning off the Cloud Saves & then opening the game again which should look for local files instead of from the cloud.

Sadly i wasn't able to recover the save, the only file i can find in that folder is "steam_autocloud.vdf", where the campaign is deleted. If there is something that can be done i would appreciate it alot. Thanks!
