Why block the map editor?

I own this game on GOG and I cant actually use any maps from here on Steam... I wanted to edit a map so I had a custom game to play however it seems your updates have screwed that up... Why add a game to a platform like GOG when you wont allow buyers to have the same experience as the ones on Steam? Im not buying the game twice just to play Custom Levels, Its stupid...

i may be wrong but pretty sure thats a steam limitation not a TAB one as all custom maps are tied to the steam workshop...that you can only make use of if you own the game on steam

Gog doen't allow Map Editor because they have no Workshop platform so it's impossible to give the same experience there than here in Steam. So the problem is GoG limitations.
