but I wasnt anywhere near completing EVERYTHING in the tech tree no. just the important stuff for that particular run. Didn't get snipers, or mutants or ballista or executors.
as for the last hero mission if you go around the left and approach the corridor from the north you can activate the flame jets to clear the corridor. you shouldn't need to avoid it.
Seems like you picked too many of the early techs if you can't reach the highest techs. The only thing you could do better in a new campaign would be to make better choices regarding the techs.
Thats normal we do not have enough points. But IMHO, there is not enough points.
What I do though is I just progress through the tech tree without cheats until I get to the final mission. Then before I start the final mission I use a trainer to give myself enough points to snatch up the remaining techs I didn't get through normal gameplay.
