Can one create custom tesla tower with increased energy radius ?
Modding tools got an update, can one now boost tesla tower radius ?
Personally I want to create a mod that completely removes this dumb game design of needing to place tesla towers, it adds nothing but tedium. Expanding too fast too far already is penalised by roaming zombies.

Alternatively one could make main building energy radius spanning the whole map, is that possible with new tools ?

Tesla towers == annoying ♥♥♥♥ design.

i mean everyone is entitled to there opinion and i can see where your coming from

but to me i view teslas as very important for game balance both early on "when resources are scarce" and later on to slow the pace of player expansion

game can be rebalanced in other areas with removed tesla towers in mind. Obviously, not changing other aspects of the game and giving free energy field across the map would be ridiculous.

Hello

For example

Set the energy range and watch range of Tesla Towers to 12 cells.
ApplyRules("TeslaTower EnergyTransferRadius = 12; TeslaTower WatchRange = 12);

can this be applied globally? any guide?

edit: ZXRules.dat modding worked; increased range to 40 and the game is 10 times more enjoyable now + the city looks way nicer

usually custom maps give global range to the energy wonder and make it a day 40 limitation. to not affect game balance too much

yeah but I want it to be a global thing so I can play normally. Have tweaked it down to 32 now though, 40 view range was a bit too much
